I don't think dey have started calling the Ond guys for interview

yep, that was on wednesday, but it wasnt for fresh intake, 701 replacemnt by 135.

Meaning, they are ivara contract staff ??
I guess 135 is to complete the job of the rig that had fire accident early this year, and the guys called where part of 701?

Can anyone confirm if transocean did induction for some roustabout guys weeks back?
Heard some guys where called but not confirmed if d story is true

we know d condition of tins in dis country, some successful candidates has der masters degree in drilling engineering, petroleum, mechanical etc and yet dey are happy to accept d appointment of a roustabout dat only requires weac certificate. ..
some guys just need it for dem to b recognised globally. ... who needs to work for 6mnths before getting his iwcf? some job seekers already has iadc/iwcf, so transocean must nt provide it.... who says a gud graduate dat is passionate abt d drilling industry can not move from a roustabout(in transocean) to an assistant driller (another company)?
who says after plenty 4yrs in transocean a smart guy dat started as a roustabout can not b employed as a drilling engineer in total/shell or agip?

Some guys are ready to leave der graduate positions in oil servicing companies dat pay 200k for the position of a roustabout in an international drilling company.

I know ART starts from roustabout or roughneck, what is d difference between the Art roustabout and dis new roustabouts dat are yet to start.

I believe the rig will arrive dis October and dat was the reason transocean asked ivara to send out mails... maybe transocean may have another one coming in January
