If by 15th of this month the price does not drop below 7000, it would be advised to start buying at current price. If possible slit your purchase so you may enjoy the possibility of buying at lower rates if prices fall later.

It would appear that this year, Nigerian price is following international price..importing will not be profitable! Yay!

Hybrid Seeds Vs Open Pollinated Seeds

Though hybrid seeds might give more yield than open pollinated seeds when properly taken care of.

But, in terms of resistance, the open pollinated is the best.
They have been acclimatised better to the system.
They can withstand insect and pest invasion better.
They have high diseases resistance than hybrid because of their adaptation.

For over 80% of our farmers with average GAP knowledge, OP seed is a better choice.
