I can't imagine what Neymar will be thinking now. The guy just want to misuse his prime. Blinded by money and inferiority complex, coupled with his selfish father, I hope he won't waste his prime on nothing. Talk of a wasteful move, Neymar's PSG move is. See how happy Messi was when Dembele scored that goal; I'm certain La Pulga would have sacrificed everything for Neymar to grab the mantle of World football. Ney, what you turned away, Dembouz will take with both arms and feet; it will only be your lose. For certain, there is no Barca homecoming for Ney. Our board would be stupid to consider such move, not when we have a stronger team, a Dembele who has more than enough time to mature into full prime under that mentorship of Messi, and we already cashed in on the biggest move of all time. Are we going to pay 300m for a player we sold 222m? Nah nah nah The next point of call is Madrid. And I wouldn't even consider such move if I were Florentino. Considering the financial cost, the childish mentality of Neymar at 26, having two egoistic players in a RM squad (Ney and CR7), I'll pass. If the RM move happens, the world will clearly see what Messi sacrificed to accommodate Ney in his hood. CR7 will secede power for no one. He will rather leave the club, which Perez wouldn't want either because of his marketing value. What do you guys think can happen with Neymar after the World cup?

Vamos Barça!!!!! |
Abimloaded:Hummmmmmm... I never knew something like this is on NL. Let me pack my bags, I'm coming. Thanks for the insight. |
Teaser4:From the look of things, we should win! We have the team, if only luck will be on our side. |
bezimo:They played to instructions. That's how you play against a Chelsea team that can hurt on counter and shut up shop. You can't miss any chance you have against them.
|
AryaSand:Hummmmmmm... That's awesome. I've been a Barca fan since 2006. And that guy Messi, I savour every moment I can watching him play. I look forward to seeing him play live one day. BTW, savour tonight's win (though not as spectacular as the PSG win last season, it's still excellent). Which team do you hope to tie against at the quarterfinals? Do you see us winning this season's UCL? |
Arondizuogu:I think you've not been watching Barca this season. The most unpredictable of the last 8 is Barca, all thanks Valvarde with his great knowledge of game management. This team is far dangerous and well balanced than the Lucho or Pep's Barca. They might not be playing a fancy style of play but knowing "how to win games" makes them a threat. The departure of Neymar was a blessing in disguise. This Barca isn't as strong in attack like when he was with them but their midfield and defence became far better. And with Messi who has been creating results out of nothing all season, underrate them at your peril. Let see the big mountains they haven't failed to climb this season: Juve (2 legs) Madrid (over one leg) Atletico (2 legs) Chelsea (2 legs). They remain unbeaten against the top clubs and have only been defeated once this season (1-0 against Espanyol). They score goals and are selfishly selfish in their 18-yard box. Add all this together and tell me your thoughts. |
iluvpomo:This is what you get when the umblical cord between the manager and players gets broken. It all started with the way he offloaded Costa. Conte is one hell of a coach with bad man management skills, though I respect his tactical skills. He is the inverse replica of Zidane. ZZ does better managing his players but his tactical skills, not too great. |
AryaSand:Gomes was never a mediocre caliber of player. I think Barca is only too big for him (just like Gerard Deulofeu) but I love his commitment and hardwork. It has been long time coming, I hope Valvarde's trust in him eventually turns to the Gomes we experienced in Valencia. Are you a Barca fan by the way? Or one of those fans who came to give Chelsea "a tit for tat"? |
Yusuf54:Lol... Please leave my guy. I have been reading his comments ever since. Ucl is for the elite teams and I don't count man city as one. Yeah, they are doing wonders in the EPL. And no, they've not convinced enough in the ucl tournament this far. Against the big boys, their case will be like Tottenham against Juve in the KO games. Game experience will be their nightmare. They will play the flair attacking football but the big guys will come out on top. I wish for a RM-Man city match tie. I should add: they will do better than the local farm boys (PSG). |
AryaSand:This is the perfect night for Gomes to shine and pick up on confidence. Zero pressure on him right now. |
Skepticus:My brother, I just tire! |
