@boay two things may be wrong with ur fone or it was not properly unlocked initially u can try a soft or hard reset on ur fone see which would be of help.

@celery ur fone is a bb5 and not all bb5 can be unlocked via imei for free but there is a software that can be useful to u sending u the software may not be the right thing to do if u are not an expert in unlocking so u do not damage ur fone but u can make use of a trained expert to do the security reset for u .

unlock code can either mean sim unlock or security code unlock.
If ur fone show restriction that mean you need sim unlock

@geebriel lucky u there is a solution for ur fone but it cannot be solved just with ur imei number ur phone has to be connected to a computer then unlocked via a software. My advice is take it to an expert or to computer village. Cheers

@feelme there three ways to unlock ur fone
1. Open an account with tmobile establish contact and they give u the code free.
2. Not free go to w w w. freeyourhtc. com u get the code within 3 hours
3. Not free go to computer village ikeja.

For S60 1st and 2nd Phones
What should we do if we forget the
password? For S60 1st and some of
2nd phones, such as Nokia 3650,
Nokia 6600 and Nokia N-Gage, the
password is stored in a plain text
file.
Firstly, you need to install
FExplorer, a free file manager that
allows us to browser through S60
file system.
Next, launch FExplorer and then
browser to c:\system folder. There
is a file, called mmcstore.
Rename the file to mmcstore.txt
and then open it. Your password
must be several characters at the
end of the file.
For S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series
and Nokia E-Series
Unfortunately, there is no way to
recover the password in the latest
S60 phones. The only way that I
know so far is by reformatting the
memory card. It can be done from
Memory Card application by
selecting Options | Format memory
card menu. Of course, you will lose
all your data in the memory card …
