Romance / My Girlfriend Wants Us To Take A Break by olajos10(m): 9:45am On Mar 26
My girlfriend believes she isn't good enough for me and thinks I deserve someone better. She owns a fashion design business, which I support in every possible way to help her brand grow. Although I'm not financially stable at the moment, I provide moral support and contribute my skills as a graphic designer and photographer to promote her brand.

Recently, she suggested we take a break because she doesn't want to burden me anymore. She even mentioned that if I find someone better during the break, I should move on.

I confronted her to understand her reasons, especially since I've never complained about supporting her or feeling stressed. Her response was, "You don't have to, because I don't want to be callous."

I don't know what to do now.

Career / I'm Feeling Overwhelmed, Depressed, And On The Verge Of Losing Hope by olajos10(m): 11:45am On Sep 08, 2023
I have worked as a graphic designer for over five years, primarily relying on freelance projects to make ends meet. However, my design work has slowed down significantly since I returned to school to pursue a master's degree.

Due to the decrease in design gigs, I've been facing financial challenges. There are times when I can't secure any design jobs for an entire month, and when I do, some clients don't pay well or delay payments, making it difficult to maintain a stable income.

In an effort to supplement my income, I decided to invest my savings in a six-month photography training program, becoming a certified professional digital photographer.

However, after completing the training, I realized that I lack the resources and capital to start a photography business. Acquiring essential equipment such as a camera and lighting gear has proven to be financially daunting.

I've attempted to build my photography portfolio through collaborations, but finding models and makeup artists to work with has been challenging. Three months after my photography training, I've only managed a few successful collaborations.

I am a 30-year-old man, hoping to establish a stable life and start a family. Unfortunately, I don't have a steady source of income, savings, or my own place to live. I currently reside in a campus dormitory, and my fiancée is eager for us to progress our relationship, which adds to my stress.

I've been struggling with chronic back and neck pain for months, likely due to long hours of sitting and working with poor posture.

To make matters worse, my laptop, which is my primary tool for work, has a screen problem that requires a repair cost which I can't afford at the moment.

I'm feeling overwhelmed, depressed, and on the verge of losing hope. I'm in desperate need of assistance and guidance to navigate these challenges.
