Hello everybody, please I will like to know the best way or ways to get into construction job(eg plumbing or hvac) as a new immigrant in UK with a mechanical Engineering degree from Nigeria. I have some professional experience as site supervisor on HVAC project.
All my online search are not too clear about which path to follow.
City and guilds for 1yr to get plumbing certificate or white SkillCard AQP are the top things I have read so far. Please help I am using three weeks already without a job as dependent and all carer jobs I see so far demand driving experience that I dnt have.

Hello, the only thing I know that can help is exercise and one of the exercise I am 100% sure will add atleast 10minutes to his thrust time after penetration is walking/running (soft jogging). Encourage him to start walking or do soft jogging of atleast 5hrs pay week and you will see improvement within a month.
Note: I am telling you this because I have been there, done that and now proud to say i am cure.

to clear doubt on dis recruitment, NRC truly did recruitment exercise in year 2013 and i can testify to it because i followed a frd to d test venue in their ibadan office. d position he sought there is locomotive driver being an ND holder and dey didnt have vacancy then for degree holder. it was one of fairest recruitment exercise in public agency av seen in naija as dey waited for their script to be marked after d test and did interview d same day 4 d best 10 applicants. that shud nt mean dey cant recruit again dis year. let us get d info frm right source and nt frm staffs who might think dey wont upgrade their level shud pple become aware and join dem to apply.

It was like a vigil after getting up by 2am today, i grabbed my phone and i started the registration process, which took me about 5hrs or more to complete cause i was using a phone and i was being careful to avoid errors and eventually i succeeded, after much time and money spent at the cafe. I wasn't notify via mail after filling unlike the first set of applicants before, it was hijacked in the name of site crashing over many applicants. I just hope this people won't be like Sterling bank. Common registration they are messing up, how much more the online test proper.

it only display that my application is successful ,no mail was sent to me either.

justi4jesu: Yes sure mine was laminated when i took them there.

They know their way around it, they just have to tear a small portion behind your certificates to Sign on it.

So dont worry about that just take all Certificates both laminated ones and you will be fine.

They are fake people that are scamming innocent graduate. Received their mail two days ago and after the background check I discover they are nt real. Ask yourself why paying? And if need be why nt the company name?
