This depends on the documents that need legalization/the document that needs to be submitted to the embassy. Well, for me, I went with my WAEC, Bachelor's degree, and Bachelor's transcript.

You will need to bring the document in its original form and come to the Ministry of Education in Abuja. Once you are done, you can then take it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The process can be quite frustrating and long if done alone, especially getting an appointment. You can choose to do alone or let agents help you handle the process

But this legalisation of academic documents, is it mandatory for the physical visa interview? Please others who have had their interviews can respond too🤲🏻

Any September (2025) applicant in preliminary review stage here? I joined the queue 10th September and I’ve been seeing 2-8wks on the portal since April.

A quick conversation over WhatsApp. I’ve been on the waiting for student Visa since last year July but no response. I’ve got admitted to 2 universities last year during my application and they are wasted now. I graduated with a First Class and I also wrote TOEFL and GRE, so it was easy for me to get admitted. I can show proofs for this. I read that opportunity card takes shorter time and I’ve started the application but I need help with the documents 🤲🏻.
