Sitting on the bus on my way to a meeting, these thoughts came in and I decided to put them together and share.

There is this thing about people trying to box you into someone/something you are not and wanting you to create a perception of what you are not. Sometimes, it’s funny the kind of questions I get asked because of my looks, my work ethics because I use glasses, my height, my weight or my faith.

Many times, we try to shape our lives to fit into who people think we are or should be on and off social media, but guess what? No one really gives a Bleep about you. Not too long ago, I made up my mind to stop being that person. I decided to take my own life into my own hands, look good in my own way, chop life in own way, try new things, explore, whether I fail or succeed at it or fail and basically enjoy life.

I was inspired by his presentation and the level of work he is doing in the Agric sector in Nigeria, so I decided there and then to interview him.

There was a gas explosion at Capital Oil gas station at the Ojodu axis of Lagos. This video shows the Lagos State Fire service going to attend to the situation. Casualty is about 9 and more than 54 vehicles were destroyed. Report also has it that the driver survived.

The Lagos state Government also released a statement on behalf of Governor Ambode who visited the site of the incident last night.

I got to know Ahmed from the popular tech blog mobilityArena.com when it was still Mobility.ng, the regular commenters were gadget freaks like me and we all knew ourselves �� Fast forward to December 2013, I met Ahmed Odunlami (@mister_swot ) physically for the first time when he came to deliver my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 reading tab in his NYSC Khaki, he didn’t have a shop and he has apparently been selling gadgets as his side hustle since he was an undergraduate.

So I missed the opening keynote at WordCamp Lagos 2018 but got the opportunity to speak with the Keynote Speaker, Mr Ade Olufeko about WordPress and his advise for Nigerian freelancers.

Ade Olufeko is a technologist, designer and entrepreneur. His research and curatorial work focus on the narratives of creatives who bring awareness to regional and global issues.
