NASFAT YOUTH SYMPOSIUM in line with the United Nations for the INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY. Was held today at the NASFAT Youth Wing FCT ZONE in Utako.
THEME: YOUTH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT.
The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth Development, Hajia Rabi Jamita was ably represented by Hajia Aminat M. Daura. Guest speaker: Mr Nurudeen Aderinto, Hajia Raliat Alhassan, Special Guest of Honour, Ordinary(Dr.) Ahmed Isah(GCON) president brekete family to name a few. Indeed the change we want is here.


Please take note that power cannot be given but can be taken. Today is your chance to do something in a different way to compliment who you are and what you want to be. We (youth) should be ready to take responsibilities as we embrace CHANGE. Gone are the days where we are told we are the leaders of tomorrow Obviously we are the leaders of today.

At the program, some of the lessons learned today is take advantage of five(5) things before five (5) things. Which are:
1). Youth before Old age
2). Health before sickness
3). Leisure before work
4). Rich before poor
5). Life before death.

Also there are five things we (youth) must acquire to be more effective in the society.

1). Education
2). Social awareness
3). Involvement in National discussion
4). Leveraging technology
5). Leadership and value.

I would be pleased to also share with you that we (youth) have to be dedicated, honest, guide our integrity and be skillful in all we do.
