Given the contradictions of his profession, Babalola should have been circumspect enough to not jump into a public contest over his reputation. He seems to me like a man who has invested in being nice just so that he would not be remembered as a villain in Nigeria’s story. That election was done to fulfill all righteousness. What i witnessed was appalling. A polling boot with 886 registered voters was given just 50 ballot papers. What do you call that. Each ad hock staff was given between 5k and 10k by the state govt(apc0. So what do you expect. As it is arranged now,election organized by the state electoral bodies is a charade. Any opposition that field candidates are just wasting their money. |
