eepeepook: I don’t believe this story. Who bought the devices? Starlink is not like MTN or other telecom companies which sell modems for tens of thousands of Naira. Their devices and subscriptions run into almost a thousand dollars. Turkey and Iran have not stopped sponsoring these terrorists. So, don't be surprised by this acquisition. |

US ready to sacrifice anything for the life of their airmen. Loss of equipment is nothing compare to rescuing those guys. If loosing a couple of aircrafts is failure, then Iran that had lost her leaders and almost all its NAVY& AIR FORCE is a big looser here. |

UrPapa: I wonder why US is trying so hard to make us believe everything is fine and is going as they have planned Coming to the media to share us strategic informations is just something else Like why are you telling us If they'd wanted you to believe that all is well they won't tell you that two C130planes were stuck and eventually destroyed by the US forces. If it hadn't been successful, the terrorist nation would have paraded the guy as a trophy and probably publicly executed. |

This is a mental disorder. How can you hate a man to be in your life and at the same time one of you is pretending to be the man. I don't understand how this is not a psychological problem. Because they refused to allow God in their thoughts He gave them up to do things not convenient. That's what the Bible says. How is it convenient for a woman to be a wife/husband to another woman. |

Successive governors in OGUN State have played the godfather factor to their successors, which isn't our of place to how politics is played in the country. But I think the people of OGUN West can have their fate in their hands by unanimously present a common front in YAYI anything shot of that will amount to shooting themselves on the foot. I've seen that people like,GNI, Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade and some other OGUN West indigens have indicated interest but YAYI stands shoulder tall ahead of all of them. Only a UNITED OGUN West approach will prevent thunder from striking the third time. |

Politics › Re: Why Captain Ibrahim Traoré Is Playing With Fire By Detaining Nigerian Soldiers by olamike02: 2:32pm On Dec 14, 2025 |
No Mankind2024: Why Captain Ibrahim Traoré Is Playing with Fire by Detaining Nigerian Soldiers Many people underestimate the capabilities of the Nigerian military and what it could mean for the government of Burkina Faso under Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
Don't be misled by Nigeria's ongoing internal security challenges—fighting Fulani herdsmen clashes, kidnappers, bandits, and jihadist insurgents in the North, or separatist agitation in the East involving IPOB and unknown gunmen. These are asymmetric insurgencies, complicated by local sympathies and complex socio-political dynamics that make total eradication difficult without massive collateral impact. No advanced military in the world easily wins such protracted internal wars.
In stark contrast, a direct confrontation with Burkina Faso would be conventional (symmetric) warfare. The Nigerian Armed Forces—Africa's largest by personnel, with superior airpower, logistics, and combat experience—have the overwhelming potential to overrun Burkina Faso's smaller military and, if provoked far enough, enforce regime change in Ouagadougou.
Dismiss any notion that Russia's support for Traoré would deter this. Nigeria could establish theater commands in neighboring countries like Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, and Togo for a multi-front operation, leveraging regional alliances and superior resources.
This detention risks escalating a diplomatic incident into something far more dangerous. Traoré's supporters—often vocal online pan-Africanists and certain political factions—may cheer the bravado now, but they would have plenty to lament if things spiral out of control. If the plane was on its way to Portugal as claimed, how did BouboudeLaso came on its path. Assuming the flight captain missed his way did he request to make an emergency landing or was he forced to land in Mali. From information available, the plane was forced to land. It's obvious the France have seen Nigeria as a tool to be used against Mali. Op, Mali has a ready and dependable ally in Russia. I hope Nigeria won't go beyond her boundaries. |
