Preparing Motivation letters can sometimes prove challenging, especially if you are applying to an international program that’s quite competitive. The reality is that there would be so many more people out there who are as qualified as you are to get into the program. You should prepare a motivation letter that is unique; replete with relevant personal experiences and clear goals for applying to the program. Conduct Extensive Research. Before applying to a program, it is important to do some comprehensive research about the institution and your intended area of study. You need to clearly understand their institutional goals, activities, philosophy, the purpose of the program, entry requirements, qualifications and personae that their candidates should have. Understanding all of these would help you tailor your motivation letter towards the requirements. More often than not, this information is clearly spelt out on the institution’s website. What to Include - Information about your personal goals and life aspirations, which fuelled your yearning to participate in the program. Your most relevant qualities, qualifications and experiences (preferably international, if any) that would stand you out as the right candidate for the program. It gets harder in relationships depending on your partner, everything said may be weaponized when next y’all fight & when you don’t express it’s toxic masculinity. How do show weaknesses without being ridiculed? Who do you run to when your values are tested without looking weak? When men hangout we talk about everything from business, sex, women, sports, cars, religion. Loud laughter & baritone voices masking our deep pains with superficial topics & superposed masculinity, while walking on eggshells around the real issue. When what we really want to say How most men are lonely in their marriages, How we battle daily with the temptations of infidelity, how family financial burden affects our mental health, how we learn in the moment to be better fathers cause no fatherly figure or how the only manly thing we want to do is cry. One of the challenges of having this sort of conversation on here is women slowly turning it into a gender debate & sex blaming. Subtly saying “yen yen yen, shut up & stop whining”. The only way forward for us is dialogue. It has to happen, now or later..
