manneger2: Bros we all know in this country that you only provide accommodation for people doing unskilled job, which is a must from government, but skilled or semiskilled job is not in the law that u must provide, so that is what am trying to explain. Sure bro, but i know of a manager in a top company whose accommodation is secured by the company. What i only know it, the accomodation if up to par. |

manneger2: oga if u are doing a low paying job in hotel like stewardship, kitchen helper, house keeping etc u are likely getting accommodation and feeding but for bigger position like managers, IT, accountant chef other bigger position they don't give them accommodation they pay them well to carter for the accommodation they still use cafeteria for feeding. I have worked in hotel I know what am telling u Bros, different company with their way of doing things. Because hotel A does that doesnt mean hotel B follow suite. |

Like you said hotels provide feeding and accommodation, and there's also good job in a hotel. Best way to explain this is that some provide accommodation, feeding and transportation some don't. Everything is usually stated in the offer letter Lol boss, |

slimanyd: Thought I heard companies provide accommodation and feeding. How come majority of you guys are talking about feeding and accommodation again. Is it that some certain companies don't even provide accommodation and feeding to there employer? 99% provides accommodation, feeding depends on the company you are working with. Those that wont provide accommodation will inform you and add accomodation allowance to your salary. Buh feeding, i know hotels, restaurants, some maid company and few others give meals |

Distinction5050: Hello, is it all companies in UAE that size passport when working with them and give work permit? Not all, they have quotas than each other. But almost all will tell you they will do paper but majority wont at the end of the day. Pretty advice, always accept a job that will at least sustain you and you would have some cash to do visa change after three months should incase they dont do your visa |

jjoe225: I would love if you can clarify somethings as you have first hand knowledge about the visa procedure, is it possible to process a dubai two year residency visa from Nigeria, so far all i've seen being mentioned on this thread is about work visa, do you think it's best to process a two year residency from Naija (regardless of the cost) or better to go on a tourist visa and buy the residency. Do you know any legitimate means to achieve this ? Dubai 2 year residency is somehow expensive bro, most people do 3 months with the hope of getting a job and company will provide them visa. But if you have your money and can do residency, its good and at time boost your chances of getting a job because there are some jobs which requires you to have your own visa. |

And how many months visa 1 or 3 months Just log in to the app, click on travel, they willl ask you to click on the package you want, there after ask your passport number. After successfully inputing those details, you will proceed to make payment, mine was around 207k last year oct. Next they will send you another form where you will put email and all. Between 2 to three working days you should have your visa. |

Preetychina22: Funny enough someone asked me to come over there so we can have a partnership business. I decided to see what life is like in Dubai before I make a decision that's why I read over a hundred pages of this thread. For me I'm not going to look for a job but with what I've read here, Dubai isn't much fun. Men and Women don't even use the same transport or sleep in the same room lol. My presumed associate has been in Dubai for just a year and it's his second time outside naija, I wonder why he thinks he can use my head when I've been traveling for over a decade. Since I can make money from anywhere, I'd easily choose Nairobi or Kampala over Dubai any day. Happy hustling. Men and women sleep together in partitions, infact most african rooms sef. If you have your money to invest, giving it a trial isnt a sin. |
