The main fact that your boy who was labelled the crybaby of F1 got beaten by a rookie was too hard to take. No doubt Hamilton's best season was 2007 but then it was always going to be difficult to match, never mind supercede, such an explosive introduction to F1.

2007 wasn't just about the statistics and facts, nor about his performance relative to his team mate's. Hamilton was like a thunderbolt up the bum of a fusty old hierarchical pecking order. He showed us that, contrary to general opinion, overtaking was possible in F1 and F1 could be exciting. Who knew?

Before 2007 (following Williams's decline) F1 was, when it wasn't a walkover for one driver, usually a battle between two competitors, and usually they were the lead drivers from McLaren and Ferrari (notwithstanding Benetton/Renault aberrations in which a combination of Briatore's cheating, a damn good driver and a pretty decent car twice gave them a brace of championship seasons). By rights 2007 should have been the same story, with champion Alonso pitted against should-be champion Raikkonen and Hamilton and Massa playing back-up roles (nothing to do with team orders, everything to do with the natural order). Hamilton's outrageous skillz and monstering upset that applecart and the expected two-way fight became an epic three-way, with no love lost and no quarter given.

What else happened in 2007 happened and 2008, with Alonso relegated to a midfield straggler and Raikkonen having lost interest following his WDC, was anything but a battle of the titans. As nice a chap as Massa may be, he's not really in Hamilton's league. At the end of the day a single point managed on the last lap of the final race counts as much in deciding the championship as six dominant victories at the start of the season and Hamilton was a worthy and deserved victor. In all honesty, it appears it's Alonso's career has stalled, not Hamilton's. Alonso couldn't hack it at Mclaren, went back to Renault and the team went backwards. He left Renault and the team moved forwards, he joined Ferrari, they went backwards at the start of the season, then they copied the red bull flexi wing and went forward and failed in their world championship bid due to his inability to overtake Petrov. He still would have failed as Rosberg was ahead of him. Now the team have a car he helped develop and bring his famous 6tenths to languishing behind the Red Bulls, Mclarens and Mercedes'.

In his time in F1, the only team mate who stood up to him and became stronger is Hamilton. Fisichella's career went downhill because of Alonso and he's doing a great job of ruining Massa's as well.

It appears Fernando wants to take everyone down with him. Really sad though as he was a great driver.

Alonso's sole win in his return to Renault was due to crashgate. It's truly a disgrace that he still claims that engineered victory. The team was taken so far backward that they struggled to get back. They've got a great package now and only have one podium less than Alonso this season.

prayed and received abundance in return, though nothing could be further from their
mind at that point in time!
These two example prayers were just to show you that wealth could be released through
specific prayers. In these particular cases, the type of prayer they prayed was for someone
else, and intercessory in nature. Not all of them are like this.
The thing to take away from here, however, is that praying for others is like casting your
bread upon the waters, and you can’t always tell in what form it’d come back. This
“casting your bread” principle is also the foundation of all wealth and abundance.
Let’s see some phenomenal demonstrations by two masters of the game.

Jesus said at the end of the age, the volume of prophecy that we
prophesied, or the amount of preaching that we preached would not reward us. It will
simply be:

“when I was hungry you gave me to eat, when I was naked, you gave me clothes to wear,
when I was sick you visited (ministered to) me and so on and so forth.

If that’s the case,  I wonder what the Lord will tell the lady who donated £1.3bn to Salvation Army (not a church) on that day! And I also wonder what He will tell some Christians who are too afraid to manifest abundance, not knowing that it hinders their fruitfulness in the kingdom of God. It will be really
interesting on that day!

Therefore, for those who are unwilling or unable to update their thinking about true wealth to fit the biblical position, we would humbly suggest that they at least allow some Christians who are brave enough to learn to acquire wealth using godly principles under God, the author of all wealth and abundance.

God wants to be actively involved in re-distributing the wealth of the earth in these end
times. And He’s going to do that through the Church. The Church is going to become,
once again, the major distribution point of God’s wealth on the earth. That’s because the
end time purposes of God will need tons of money to accomplish, and the wealth is His
anyway.

Here’s the LORD’s strategy:

I will go before you
And make the crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of brass
And cut the bars of iron
I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the LORD,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel Isa.45:2-3

I want you to especially notice that word ‘gates’ in the passage above, for it is the end
time key into the realm of abundance that has never been experienced by the Church
before!

All that you’ve seen so far is child’s play, a drop in the bucket!
Before you can enter into this dimension that the LORD is talking about, there are some
gates that need to be destroyed. To some folks, it might not mean anything that the richest
man on the planet for several years now goes by that same name. Sometimes, God uses
physical things to teach us spiritual lessons. If you’d just learn how to pray the kind of
prayers that target spiritual gates, you’d be amazed to find yourself in a realm of
abundance that you never dared dream of!

Wealth itself is a spiritual concept. It can be gained spiritually and it can also be lost
spiritually. There are spiritual laws governing all wealth. Understanding these laws and
working them can give you a head start and an advantage over others who are just
running around carnally seeking wealth to consume upon their lusts.

It is possible to become wealthy by worldly means but such wealth would become a
destroyer and diminish over time. It is also possible to acquire wealth by godly means
and such wealth tends to increase and generate even more abundance.
Let’s look at a few Scriptures:

Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will
increase. Prov. 13:11

Just like God spoke to everything else when He brought them into existence, He spoke the
ability to manifest abundance into the man He created so that he can continue to
propagate abundance in the universe.

Look around you. There’s abundance everywhere. There’s no shortage of air to breathe.
It’s more than enough for everyone. There’s no shortage of water in most parts of the
world, though we’re doing our best to pollute and render it unusable. Do you know how
many blood vessels you have in your body? Enough to circle the world 3 times if placed
one after the other! Abundance; Sheer abundance!

Here’s the interesting part. The abundance is mostly hidden from the common view. You
don’t find wealth lying around and asking to be taken. Most of the wealth you see were
once buried deep in the earth—gold, oil, silver, diamond. And this is just the physical
side of wealth.

From the Scriptural account, Job was the first millionaire in the Bible. Someone has
estimated his wealth of those days to be worth around 50 million US dollars in today’s
money!

God is the author of all wealth and abundance. Everything He created has a built-in, preprogrammed
potential to manifest abundance. For man, God did the programming in the
book of Genesis:
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth
and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over
every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen. 1:28

Look I do give offerings at Church and I do sow seeds but I dont adhere to the do this at gun point attitude!
