Please how long did she take her on waiting list?

Hello 👋,please how long does it take for dependents visa to be approved. The main applicant single mother with a child . She applied together with the child, her visa was approved while they inform her child application pending .her visa was approved April 5. What is the best way to approach the embassy since her school program resume

If your admission expires, it's advisable to reapply into any of your school choice, get admitted again before VISA appointment.

Please I learnt that for those who are to apply for student visa, they should use VFS global instead of the consulate portal. Is there any improvement in waiting time. thanks

It's a misinformation, VFS strictly works under Consulate order just that few changes have been made e.g rescheduling of visa appointment has been halted.
In conclusion, the consulate portal is still the only website to apply for VISA.

You should update the school of your current situation and request for a deferment of the admission till next semester or ask if they allow late resumption.
They will need to prepare another admission letter to be presented before Visa Officer during your appointment

Good morning, apart from the blocked account, health insurance, and admission letter, you’ll also need: international passport, academic certificates (WAEC/NECO + university degree certificate), official transcripts, CV (Europass format), motivation letter, SOP/research proposal (if required), proof of language proficiency (IELTS / TOEFL / German), birth certificate, passport photographs, updated resume, APS certificate (very important), and proof of accommodation in Germany. You may also be asked for notarized translations and document legalization depending on your case.
