From today, Porsche will restart its production, considering site-and task-specific requirements.

Preparations have been concluded to guarantee the highest possible safety for employees and to ensure production can be gradually increased to full capacity.

Employees will resume in stages, as production ramps up at the main factory in Zuffenhausen and at the site in Leipzig.

“The restart is an important signal for our employees as well as for our customers. We have monitored and analysed the situation very carefully from the get-go and adapted processes in a flexible way.

Now is the right time to look forward with optimism and to resume work, with the appropriate precautions in place,” says Albrecht Reimold, Member of the Executive Board for Production and Logistics at Porsche AG.

A comprehensive catalogue of measures has been approved for the Porsche factories in Zuffenhausen and Leipzig.

In addition to paying utmost importance to the protection of all employees, the measures are designed to enable the resumption of an orderly and efficient production in the shortest time possible.

For example, employees are required to observe a minimum distance of 1.50 metres, follow basic rules of conduct and to wear a face mask in defined areas.

Medical institutions and medical personnel have absolute priority for Porsche when it comes to providing protective clothing.

Coronavirus Yellow vaccine in Kano State is Fake
The Nigerian government has reacted to reports of a vaccine for COVID-19 found in Kano State.

The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammad on Tuesday said the vaccine being hawked in Kano is fake and should not be bought.

Lai Mohammed said this while giving updates on COVID-19 during the Presidential task force press briefing on Tuesday.

He warned that the vaccine is yellow and should not be patronized or administered.

“There is a vaccine being hawked in Kano, it is yellow in colour and should not be patronized

“Nigerians are warned that the vaccine is fake and should not be bought.”

Recall that the World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday confirmed there is no approved vaccine for COVID-19 at the moment.

WHO Immunization Team Lead, Dr Fiona Braka, said researches were still ongoing on the deadly viral disease.

As of Tuesday, Nigeria has a record of 665 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.

The Nigeria Center for Disease and Control, NCDC, confirmed 38 new cases in the country.

6ix9ine is reportedly dropping major cash on jewelry and cars after being released from prison months early due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a report from TMZ on Monday (April 20), sources said that Tekashi has purchased a fleet of vehicles now that he’s on home confinement and no longer behind bars. The Brooklyn rapper has reportedly bought a Lamborghini Aventador, a McLaren, a Rolls-Royce, a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and a Range Rover. 6ix9ine is also said to have cashed out on four watches including a Richard Mille watch and a $300,000 chain that is shaped like a shark. The outlet notes that because Tekashi is currently serving the rest of his prison sentence on house arrest, he has made these purchases over the phone with help from people he trusts.

On April 2, 6ix9ine was released from prison after a judge granted a compassionate release because of his medical condition. The rapper suffers from asthma, which would have placed him at a higher risk of contracting the coronavirus while in prison. Tekashi’s attorney, Dawn Florio, confirmed that while the rapper is on house arrest, he will have to wear an ankle monitor. However, he is allowed to use social media and will reportedly record a Spanish and an English album for his record label 10k Projects.



The Brooklyn rapper had been behind bars since Nov. 18, 2018, when he was arrested for federal racketeering and firearms charges. After testifying against his fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods associates to lighten his sentence, 6ix9ine was ordered to spend 24 months in prison and five years of supervised release. Since the rapper had already been serving time, he only had to do an additional 11 months, thus making his originally scheduled release date Aug. 2, 2020. 6ix9ine is now serving his time from home confinement until that date.

Leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra(IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has vowed to sacrifice everything to achieve freedom for the people of Biafra.

The IPOB leader made the disclosure in a broadcast on Sunday.

He said that nothing would stand in his way until Biafra is achieved.

“I will sacrifice anything sacrifiable to make sure I achieve Biafra. I have no cloth, I have nothing. My aim is Biafra, nothing else will stand in my way, until Biafra is restored so that the world will know that Biafra is a Divine project,” he stressed.

According to him, the death of his parents was the supreme sacrifice he has to pay in the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra.

Kanu stated:

“I sacrificed my father and mother. That’s the supreme sacrifice to make sure that Biafra is restored.”

“I am holding some coordinators for stealing some bags of rice. They ran away with some bags of rice supplied for the poor people. They will be handled appropriately because Biafra is a land of accountability,” he stated.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State says the state government has spent over N1billion to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking in Benin during a live briefing on the virus by the State Response Team on Sunday, Governor Obaseki reiterated his administration’s commitment in ending the scourge of the virus in the state.

“The government of Edo State is leading this battle from the front. We have already spent over N1billion of our limited resources so far on this fight.

“We have constituted the Edo State Fund-Raising Committee which is made up of our sons and daughters who are captains of industries, religious leaders, traditional rulers to help us galvanise efforts at mobilizing resources to beef up the state government’s response to this pandemic,” he said.

According to him, the decision of the state government to review the partial lockdown imposed on residents was borne after reviewing the COVID-19 tests carried out on suspects.

Police Force in Yobe state have arrested a 22-year-old man for cutting off the hand of his wife from the wrist.

The man identified as Baari Bacha reportedly attacked his wife Halima Bulama after she disobeyed his orders not to attend a friend’s ceremony in Damaturu.

Confirming his arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Yobe state Command, Dungus Abdulkarim, said in a statement that Bacha became furious after a heated argument with his wife, and then used a cutlass to perpetrate the act.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that on April 14, the victim, Halima Bulama (20), sought permission from her husband to attend an event. But, he refused to grant her request and she left for the event after the husband had gone out.

“When he came back, he asked of her whereabouts and was told that she had gone for the event. He went to look for her in the neighbourhood and couldn’t find her there.

He proceeded to her parent’s house and found her there,” he stated.

The police spokesman said the victim’s brothers persuaded her to follow her husband home, but she refused and her action ignited an argument between herself and her husband.

According to Dungus, the woman’s husband, out of provocation caused his by wife’s action, used a cutlass he had carried from home and amputated her hand in the presence of her brothers

The PPRO also disclosed that the victim is currently receiving treatment in the hospital and the suspect will be charged to court after investigation is completed.

A national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, says the country must not allow the death of Abba Kyari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff be in vain.

The former Lagos governor made this known in a condolence message released by his Media Office on Saturday.

While expressing his sadness over Kyari’s death, Tinubu urged Nigerians to use the death of Kyari and others killed by the virus to strengthen their resolve in fighting the pandemic.

“The death came at a time the government is working assiduously to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“We must not allow the passing away of Malam Kyari and other Nigerians, who have lost their lives to this terrible disease to be in vain.

“I’m deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Malam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to the President.

“He was an extremely able, loyal and talented man, who dedicated his considerable skills to the success of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari,” Tinubu said.

“Whatever someone will try to say about Malam Kyari, the words will prove insufficient.

“His influence in government and throughout the land was substantial and profound. He will surely be missed.

“My deepest condolences go to President Buhari, the people of Nigeria and especially, the family of Mallam Kyari over this tragic loss.

Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, may leave the club to join John Mikel Obi’s former club, Trabzonspor.
According to Turkish outlet, Fotospor, Trabzonspor wants Iheanacho to join the club this summer transfer window after terminating Mikel Obi’s contract in March when the former Super Eagles captain refused to play amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The newspaper reports that the Turkish giants are set to lose their striker, Alexander Solorth, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool and has identified Iheanacho as one of the potential options to replace him.

Iheanacho has spent his entire senior career in England, but it may be time for him to move to another country as Trabzonspor are keen on his services.

He has rediscovered his scoring form so far this season, netting eight goals and providing four assists in 18 appearances across all competitions for Leicester City.



The 23-year-old joined the Foxes for €27.7 million in 2017 from Manchester City.

At least five women and children died on Saturday in a stampede when cash and clothes were handed out to thousands of displaced people in Borno, militia and local people told AFP.

A large crowd surged forward for the government aid distribution and people were trampled under foot in the town of Gamboru, near the Cameroon border, a region hit by jihadist violence.

“Five dead bodies, four women and a little girl, were brought to the hospital along with seven injured,” a medical source said at the hospital.

“We learned that (other) bodies were identified and claimed by relations from the scene,” the source added without specifying how many.

However, Umar Kachalla, who heads a local anti-jihadist militia force, said;

“There was a crush which led to the death of 12 women and children and left seven with severe injuries.”

Some of the dead were taken to hospital and others claimed at the site of the stampede, he added.

Thousands of women had gathered at a primary school for handouts of 5,000 nairas (13 dollars) and clothing supplied by Borno state governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

“There was a stampede as the distribution was about to start,” in the morning, said local resident Yahaya Bukar, who also counted 12 dead.

Mr Clement Oladele, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, said the command had impounded 70 vehicles since the Presidential directive on COVID-19 lockdown begun.
Oladele disclosed this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abeokuta on Saturday.

The sector commander said that only vehicles not covered by presidential waiver were apprehended by the FRSC.

“They disobeyed government’s directive,’’

He said.

The commander emphasised that the goal of the presidential directives special operations was not on the arrest of motorists but to ensure a cessation of vehicular traffic.

“Except for vehicles with presidential waivers, especially vehicles conveying petroleum products or those transporting agricultural goods and vehicles of persons categorised as being on essential services.

“This, therefore, has removed about 85 per cent of the 380,000 vehicles operating on highways across Ogun State.

“The Corps has not changed its policy on release of impounded vehicles.

“Those apprehended but could make online payments either through their mobile devices or with the POS are immediately released,’’

He said.



According to Oladele, it is only vehicles whose drivers are being prosecuted by the FRSC that would remain impounded, until after the court judgement.

He explained that the level of compliance with the lockdown order remained high in the state

He, however, said that there were still, some pockets of motorists in defiance, who feign ignorance of the damage that COVID-19 could cause in the community.

He said that the FRSC, despite its limited resources and in collaboration with special marshals, has donated protective materials and food packs to some security agencies in the state.

Oladele said that the FRSC would continue to work hard to minimise the risks of deaths in road traffic across the state.

The last patient of COVID-19 in Enugu state has been discharged, meaning the state is now free of any confirmed case of the pandemic.

The second patient was discharged Thursday night while the first patient had been discharged since Wednesday night after testing negative.

The two confirmed cases in the state had been a husband and wife who recently returned from the United Kingdom. Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Health, Dr. Ifeanyi Agujiobi, had confirmed that “the two patients, who presented on their own, tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19)”.

Popular comedienne, Helen Paul has advised that it is wrong to call any man unfortunate until his end has been known.

The popular humour merchant added that the end of man is death and as such any man who is still breathing still has hope.
