Greetings to you all. I have tried to make some research on the pension structure of retired civil servants in Nigeria but could not achieve much result. I therefore resort to this platform hoping to get the right answers from the right people here. I wish to know how much do retiree earn per month as pension base on the grade they retired with. So, if you don't mind pls tell me/us the little you know about the pay of pensioners in Nigeria. Thank you. |
Why not sow a seed that will attract his attention. That is a better way to easily meet Bishop. |
After that what next? |
Very terrible news |
Hope the EFCC will not forget to arrest APC party leader, Tinubu too. Because he is the masterminded of vote buying. |
An official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mrs. Mary Efeturi, has cried out in a WhatsApp group that the Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, is holding her hostage with the military personnel. According to her desperate message, Amaechi wants her to instruct collation officers to collate results in the presidential election that held Saturday which she resisted, leading to her being held hostage by the minister, who has threatened not to release her until she carries out his wishes, which is to write results. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2019/02/24/amaechi-using-military-to-hold-me-hostage-inec-official-cries-out/?amp |

Congratulations to my fellow survivals. By this time on Monday Nigerians will be singing a new song. Free at last... Free at last.. After four years, thank God we are free at. |
Even in the dream APC can never win Wike. If they like they should go and use Aaron in the Bible as their running mate. They are just joking. |

I am not by any way against Sen. Saraki, but I am beginning to suspect that some of these religious leaders are paid to make false prophecies in support on one person or the other. This is because, majority of Nigerians are too religious to reason clearly. So whoever that a prophet prophesizes in favour, draws the attention of their audience. |
Even our ancestors know that. Any youth that is still support APC or PDP is yet to wake up from his/her sleep. Nigerian youths should start to think on how they can become political leaders. What annoy me most is the fact that Nigerian politicians do not retire. Imaging people that have ruled the country many years ago, they are still the ones to mobilize the up coming ones to form a party. Why most it be so? Does it mean that the up coming younger politicians can't do any thing without the old politicians? Nigerian youths need to wake up. It is better for me to join ARISE NIGERIAN YOUTHS than for me to think of APC or PDP. From Sir Johnson. |

Good for you. You are satisfy with it because you are a female. You don't have much financial burdens, you don't have people looking up to you for financial assistance, may be you don't have parents and siblings to support financially. Let us consider the case of a guy leaving in a city like P.H. with its high cost of living. If he must spend #300 on transport fare, at the end of 24 working days, he must have spent #6,000 out of the #30,000. How much will he now save for rent? How much will he spend on food? How much will he spend on clothing and up keep? How much will be left for parents and siblings support? How much can he now have as a savings? Compare it with the millions of naira the not so educated, not so enlightened and not so hard working politicians are spending on just news paper allowances. Nigerian Youths pls let us open our eyes. Let us emancipate ourselves from every delusional spirit we may have being enslaved. Let us wakeup to save Nigeria. Seven persons were feared killed Friday night in a clash between two rival cults in Ajakaja, Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State A community source disclosed that residents had known no peace in the community after gunmen believed to be members of a dominant cult group entered Ajakaja, shooting for hours. It was learned that the hoodlums were countered by a rival group resulting in a gun duel which left the seven persons dead and several others wounded. Hycent Dagbor, a resident, said fear was the order of the day in the community as the cult leaders threatened more attacks. “It took the intervention of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, to calm the situation as the hoodlums took flight through the river side”, he narrated. DSP Nnamdi Omoni, Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, failed to respond to repeated calls for the police confirmation of the incident. https://www.today.ng/news/metro/54255/feared-killed-rivers-fresh-cult-clash?utm_source=nnd.ng&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=nigerianewsdesk

The Taraba State Police Command has confirmed the burial of four persons on Saturday in Jalingo following a dawn attack by an armed militia on three Fulani communities in Lau Local Government Area of the state. But a resident of one of the affected communities said 15 people were buried at Jalingo cemetery. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP David Misal, said those that carried out the attacks were yet be identified, adding that no arrest has been made. The spokesman called for calm and assured residents that security agencies were investigating the incident with a view to arresting and prosecuting the culprits. The News Agency of Nigeria gathered that the attack was launched at about 6am on Saturday. The villages attacked by the suspected militia were Babagasa, Donadda and Katibu, which shared common boundary with Adamawa State. A resident of Katibu, Mallam Bello Isa, who narrowly escaped the attack, told NAN that many people in his village were killed and houses set ablaze. Isa explained that so far the bodies of 15 persons killed in the attacks were recovered and buried at about 10am at the Jalingo Cemetery. He said many people, including women and children, were still missing, adding that security agents are yet to be deployed to the area. He said: “The armed militia, whom we identified as Bachama and Nyandang, came to our village at about 6am today and said their cows were stolen, and before we could reply them, they started shooting and setting our houses ablaze. “We are residents of the area and have no any misunderstanding with our neighbours who are Nyandang, but we are Fulani by tribe but not herders, yet we came under attacks for no offence.” A resident of Donada village, Malam Kallamu Mohammed, who also escaped with gunshots, said they were surrounded by the militia whom they also suspected to be Bachama and Nyandang early on Saturday morning. According to Mohammed, the militia who were well armed stormed the area on motorcycles and started shooting and setting their houses ablaze while others looted their properties. https://www.today.ng/news/metro/54247/15-killed-taraba-communal-crisis/

The Ifitedunu community in Dunokofia local government area of Anambra state has vowed to give hundred percent of its votes to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. The community, which also promised to buy a reelection form for the resident claimed it would do this as a way to thank Dr Chris Ngige for his dedication to the development of the community. The Punch reports that the traditional ruler of the community and the president general of the town, Igwe Emeka Ilounoh and Samuel Nweke made this statement in separate speeches during the groundbreaking for the construction of the Federal Specialist Skills Acquisition centre in Ifitedunu by Ngige. The community, which praises Ngige for building major roads and other infrastructure in the state during his tenure as governor said their support for President Buhari is a payback for Ngige's efforts in developing Ifitedunu. The traditional ruler said: “2019 will be payback time for this our great son and friend , Dr Chris Ngige, for all he had done for us as a governor, senator and minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria. We will give President Muhammadu Buhari 100 per cent of our votes in the election because of Dr Ngige.” NAIJ.com previously reported that the president of Southeast Elders Forum, and former president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, has said the Igbos have no stake in the 2019 general election. He urged people from the southeast zone to be more like spectators in the forthcoming elections. Ikedife said the All Progressives Congress (APC) came with a lot of promises and Nigerians had lots of expectations from the party. 2019 Presidency: Nigerians reveal why they prefer Atiku to President Buhari on NAIJ.com TV https://www.naija.ng/1144630-anambra-community-promises-vote-buhari-2019-ngige.html |
Governor Yahya Bello has announced that President Muhammadu Buhari will get more support and votes from Kogi state in 2019 as the state has already endorsed the president for as second term in office. The governor made this statement on Friday, January 5, 2018, while speaking with State House correspondents after observing Jumaat service at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The governor added that president Buhari will get more votes in Kogi state than in his home state, Katsina. He said: “I’m sure you are following us as we are receiving decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and all other political parties. And any time we hold any decamping rally in any local government area you will see the mammoth crowd that turns out. “So, Kogi state has already endorsed President Buhari for second term. We are just waiting for the time to come. You are going to see the votes that will come out of Kogi state. It will dwarf that of Katsina state I can assure you.” The governor, also added that his state is not owing workers' salaries. https://www.naija.ng/1144533-buhari-votes-kogi-2019-governor-bello.html |
Suspected armed robbers on Friday gunned down an operative of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, and injured three others in Kano. The NDLEA chairman, Mohammad Abdullah, said the incident occurred when one of its patrol teams approached a road block in the city. He said it was not immediately certain whether the gunmen were drug traffickers or robbers. Narrating the development further, commander, Kano NDLEA, Hamza Umar told journalists that the late officer was shot on the back adding that he had been laid to rest. The NDLEA boss explained how the NDLEA’s poor funding was the reason why its operatives could not adequately protect themselves from such attacks. “We have lost a senior and gallant office in active service and even though loss of life is certain, this one is sadden and painful but that will not stop us from the fight. “Although the men were on routine operation, maybe if they were adequately equipped, perhaps they would have won the gun duel. But again this incident will further enable us to continue our consistent call on the federal government for better funding of the agency,” he said. Meanwhile NAIJ.com had reported that some personnel of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have called for the sack of its chairman, Muhammad Abdullah. The personnel in a petition accused the chairman of encouraging corruption in the agency by neglecting the welfare of staff. https://www.naija.ng/1144541-breaking-gunmen-kill-ndlea-official-injure-3-kano.html |

A beautiful woman was seen in an elated mood as she posed with a python in Kaduna state. The woman who appeared very excited – posed with the huge reptile on her neck to the delight of children and others who surrounded her. The “brave” woman also took a picture while sitting on a hyena which had its mouth sealed.
