Wow, thanks for your response. Both admissions are master's level in engineering. I am proficient in English but a beginner in French, although I'm open to learning.

Kemie2022:
One will need to fully assess your profile and the admission you have to give a better answer.

1. What admissions have you secured?

2. What is your level of proficiency in English and French?

Generally, Quebec is fighting to be more French-oriented. Avoid the province if you cannot speak or understand French and you are not ready to learn that with your course. The government of Quebec is increasingly making French mandatory for everything, including Instagram posts by businesses (Google it) and Québécois are loving this policy.

Thank you so much cos it's the French part that's making me nervous about Montreal and job prospect for a someone that's not yet fluent in it.

MarksmanD:
Go to Montreal. Learn French before you go. French speakers have better chances of getting PR than English speakers and the Quebec government launched a pilot program to give direct PR to some French speaking students who wants to live in French speaking communities in August.

URGENT!!🚨

Please I need advise, I was offered an admission to both Calgary and Montreal. Now I'm very confused as to which to choose, hence I need people's opinion as another point of research. Although the course from Montreal is what I will enjoy the most, I don't want that to be the deciding factor.

I would appreciate if anyone can shed more light as to which province I should go for and why, most especially if I'm thinking of residing permanently. Thank you so much and God bless🙏🏽🙏🏽.

The TCC is a must, right

JMG12:
What you should include is TCC if IRS Ogun issues state tax you can include it.

And please can my sponsor (my Dad) use his two accounts for my POF, or all the money has to be combined in one account of his.

Good day everyone,

Thank you. Is family and business (we have a registered business together) enough for home ties.
And if it's the other way, how long do I have to wait before requesting for him to join me.

bullstriker:
You can apply with your spouse if you are going for at least 16 months for a master's degree and can show your ties in Nigeria. Otherwise, he can join you after you land in Canada.

I need help with visa application with a spouse please.

I want to apply for a study visa for a master's degree and it's my Dad that's sponsoring me. Is it advisable to apply to bring my husband with me as well? If not, how long is it advisable to wait when one land in Canada before requesting for a spouse to join someone.

Wow, what did you use as your home ties please

Bukky562:
Yes, I did it myself. I had 5 million in my account and 5 million as fixed deposit. I also got sponsored by my aunt and uncle.
