2-3 business days

Lolaog:
Using the Unilorin transcript portal to submit@wes.org, please how long did it take for wes to get your transcript?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by OllyM: 9:05pm On May 30, 2025
Yes, I used this website: https://transcript.unilorin.edu.ng/

Also, the email I entered is
Submit@wes.org

crystalz896:
Hi there, please did you discover how to send this from Unilorin?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by OllyM: 9:38am On May 16, 2025
WES confirmed that Unilorin send documents electronically to them via a channel and not an email.

Ontarioo:
Check the WES order you created, the email address is there with the instruction.

Thanks for your response, I finished school 2022.

zubizareta:
The honest truth is from my personal observation on various GCMs notes I have seen recently, no matter who your sponsor is, the applicant's economic/employment establishment in his/her country is greatly influential in these applications especially those applicant's that have finished school atleast 5 years ago. Newly school leavers in their late 20s can be excused. Don't know your age or when you finished school. But these stuffs are factors that also now affect applications.
Apart from making sure you show relationship between your dad and you, show his source of income and all supporting docs, if possible demonstrate further by making further Expenses from his acct, you will need to convince the VO that you are economically established in your country if you have finished school significant years ago.

I saw an application rejected for this same reason. GCMS notes stated the person wasn't economically established because his salary was about 300dollars(VO converted the naira months salary of the person). This is despite the person fully paying tuition and doing 20k GIC for a 1 year program that his brother fully sponsored him for.
I understood the VO logic cos the person was presumed to have finished school years back and been working for over 6 to 7years. VO is probably asking himself, will this person return to naija after study in Canada? Am sure you understand my point.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 4:36pm On Apr 03, 2025
The POF was in my sponsor's account and I explained his sourcec of funds. I only attached my business document to prove home ties that I am coming back to the business after studies

Bobomaigida:
Please in whose account was the POF? Was it in your Dad's account? If it was, then there was no need to attach your Business documents, because they were of no use since your sponsor is your dad, rather you need to show the source of funds of the sponsor and have him move the funds to your account. Then you explain how you are related to him with docs and also show prior financial assistance from the sponsor to you to show history.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 10:07am On Apr 03, 2025
Good morning house, I got my GCMS note yesterday and my major issue was about my employment and economic ties and I need your help to address it.

1. I submitted my business registration document and office lease but I didn't submit my personal bank statement (only that of my Dad- sponsor) because money are volatile in my account and they don't really amount to a lot as it is just starting out and still a small business. How do I navigate this please

2. About asset, I have none. But can my Dad do a gift Deed for me for one his property. But the issue is I also included this property as my Dad's financial asset in my initial application. So if it's my property now, it means it doesn't belong to my Dad any longer- hope it doesn't have an effect

3. If there's any other thing you think I can also add, I will be very grateful.

Thank you

For mine, I used living expenses (on it c website) as room and board. While available fund is the total money you have (1 year tuition+living expenses+flight) if you 've paid some part of your fee, add it together in the available funds too.

zealog:
Please someone to help me with this question. Please and please

bullstriker:
Correct
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 11:09pm On Nov 02, 2024
Okay, so what you're saying is that he doesn't have to send the money to my account B4 I can apply, right

bullstriker:
The issues of availability and accessibility should not be a concern since the sponsor is your father. It can only arise if the VO believes the account was inflated for the visa application.
Don’t complete a straightforward application
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM:
🚨🚨
Good evening house.

My Dad's savings will complete my 52kCad POF by December (it will be his 4 months savings and bank statement like that).

1. Does he have to send that money to my own account before I apply for the study visa.

2. If he sends it, how long does that money have to stay in my own account before I can then apply for my Visa?

Thank you as I await your response.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 12:02am On Nov 02, 2024
Thank you so much, I appreciate.

bullstriker:
Send an email to the school requesting to pay your tuition fee, and attach their reply to your study permit submission highlighting that the school will not accept payment until March.
You don’t have to do GIC, but it shows commitment
Using an ideal sponsor (father) is a plus, so focus on other aspects of finance, such as demonstrating reliable sources of his funds and ensuring no unexplainable lump sums.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 10:57pm On Oct 31, 2024
Thank you so much, it's a stem program and it's eligible.

JMG12:
Since it is a University you don't need to pay tuition fees before applying for a Study permit. Doing GIC will be good if you can.
More importantly, Canada's new policy for PGWP issuance will take effect from tomorrow 1-Nov-2024, this means the policy will apply to you so please ensure your program is eligible to issue you PGWP after your studies although this depends on your goals.

🚨🚨

Good day house. I'm trying to apply for my visa by December and I have some questions.

My school course registration will not be open till March, so I wouldn't be able to pay my fee till then. Hope it doesn't have any implication, if the money just sits in my account. (I don't want them thinking I don't have access to it).

Also, will CIBC GIC still serve as a plus, even if I don't have any receipt of fee paid apart from acceptance deposit.

PS: my Dad is my sponsor

Please I would be grateful to get a reply🙏🏽

Congratulations. Please did you apply together with your husband or it was after his visa came out, you applied for yours.

It’s PPR for SOWP
Finally I’m joining my husband. My joy is now complete. God helped my husband and I through Zubizareta. Thank you so much Zubi, God bless you abundantly

matinero:
Good morning nairalanders.

My wife got her PPR for her study permit application last week. We put in the application for study permit and SOWP together and submitted first week of September.

I ve been denied Visitors Visa before in 2022. The only update to my application so far has been "my previous biometrics being updated".

I know it's only been a week but can we start raising webforms.
Also. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Good day, I don't know if you still went with Concordia University. But I have a question please.

I recently got admission to the Concordia in Montreal and I have accepted the admission. But it brings no place for me to pay the deposit. I've also emailed the school about it but no response yet. I would like to know if you also encountered the same problem.

Jadue:
Hello please I got admission for concordia May intake and I would need your assistance on how to go about my visa application
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 11:34pm On Oct 04, 2024
Wow, thanks for your response. Both admissions are master's level in engineering. I am proficient in English but a beginner in French, although I'm open to learning.

Kemie2022:
One will need to fully assess your profile and the admission you have to give a better answer.

1. What admissions have you secured?

2. What is your level of proficiency in English and French?

Generally, Quebec is fighting to be more French-oriented. Avoid the province if you cannot speak or understand French and you are not ready to learn that with your course. The government of Quebec is increasingly making French mandatory for everything, including Instagram posts by businesses (Google it) and Québécois are loving this policy.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 9:23pm On Oct 04, 2024
Thank you so much cos it's the French part that's making me nervous about Montreal and job prospect for a someone that's not yet fluent in it.

MarksmanD:
Go to Montreal. Learn French before you go. French speakers have better chances of getting PR than English speakers and the Quebec government launched a pilot program to give direct PR to some French speaking students who wants to live in French speaking communities in August.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OllyM: 6:13pm On Oct 04, 2024
URGENT!!🚨

Please I need advise, I was offered an admission to both Calgary and Montreal. Now I'm very confused as to which to choose, hence I need people's opinion as another point of research. Although the course from Montreal is what I will enjoy the most, I don't want that to be the deciding factor.

I would appreciate if anyone can shed more light as to which province I should go for and why, most especially if I'm thinking of residing permanently. Thank you so much and God bless🙏🏽🙏🏽.
