@BelloSKK, i am of the view that the opportunity provided by me on this Forum for people to request for prices of vehicles here in Lome, TOGO should not be abused. My guidelines are simple. If you don't appreciate what i'm doing by this services by sending in text messages or voice calls, I wonder how much it will cost you sending your request via text messages or voice call.

if you are not ready to call, then you should forget the issue of me sending in pictures or prices to any e-mail.

The main reason is that the price(s) which is been determines on the International Market by the exchange rate of Naira to CFA is not stable.

As a follow up to the MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) between the Nigeria Customs and Benin Customs, all vehicles cleared and excort by the Benin Customs will be handed over the Nigerian Customs at the Benin/Nigeria boarder, Seme or Idiroko as the case may be.

The Log-books of all the vehicles/Bill of L will be handed over to the Nigeria Customs directly. Therefore any Auto Importers/Dealers/Auto Users who patronize Benin Port should be ready to pay for the duty of his/her vehicles otherwise he/she may even pay for demaurage if the vehicle stays longer than necessary.

BENIN CUSTOMS NORMALLY EXCORT THE VEHICLE TO THE NIGERIA BOARDER OF SEME OR IDIROKO BUT WITH THE NEW AGREEMENT IT SHALL BE HANDED OVER TO THE NIGERIA CUSTOMS AT THE BOARDER.

This implies that any intending buyer should make sure that he is ready to pay ETA (i.e. duty) on his/her vehicle otherwise his/her vehicle will be with the Nigeria Customs and he/she may likely pay demarage on the vehicle if it stays longer than expected
