(Sadly, it seems many organizations put up websites just to follow the crowd. Have had similar experience with some other well-known institutions that are essentially ghosts online)

Frankly, projects like this usually involve a lot of back-and-forth. And dealing with someone you know can help you avoid "stories that touch"...

All his efforts online has proven abortive with replies that sounded non-challant and unprofessional for a prestigious learning institution like OAU

Please can anyone help out - how can I help him out, he's desperately in need of the transcript like ASAP

Flying Falconets laying firm foundations for future

After Nigeria failed to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil 2027, their U-20 team are providing real hope for the push to 2031.

"We are building a foundation for the future," declared superstar forward Seimeyeha Janet Akekoromowei after Nigeria's 3-0 dismantling of England to reach the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Poland 2026™. "The next [FIFA Women's] World Cup, they should be expecting us."

After Nigeria failed to qualify for both the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil 2027™, the Falconets have not only brought back some much-needed joy and pride to the country with their performances in Poland, they have built solid building blocks for the push to the 2031 senior women's showpiece.

Moses Aduku's players immediately bounced back from a 2-0 opening defeat to Spain — a setback which now looks fairly respectable considering how just dominant La Rojita have been — with a goalless draw with China PR and then a 10-1 dismantling of debutants New Caledonia.

England were considered heavy favourites to win their Round-of-16 clash in Bielsko-Biala but Nigeria dominated from start to finish, with Tosin Rafiu setting the tone with a brilliant opener, Christiana Uzoma performing wonders in goal including an expert penalty save, and further efforts from Akekoromowei and Mary Mamudu.

"The English team is a very good side and I think they underrated us, they never believed that we could play up to this level," Aduku told FIFA.

England counterpart Lydia Bedford conceded: "Nigeria's forwards were very effective in being direct and physical and I think that was something that perhaps we struggled to compete with at times."

After the final whistle, Aduku gathered his players in a tight huddle and delivered a firm message. "I told the players, this game is gone, we need to celebrate but a short celebration because we have the next game to play so let's focus on the next [one]."

Nigeria's players are focusing on both the present and the future. They are in Poland to compete until the very end.

"The reason why we are here is to take the Cup home. We are going to give our all. Our coach pushes us and we push ourselves on and off the pitch. We stay focused and determined," said Akekoromowei, who was named Visa Player of the Match.

"We hope to get to the final, our hope is to win the World Cup," added Uzoma, who made a number of outstanding saves, including pushing Rachel Maltby's spot kick onto the crossbar and out for safety.

"Our performance was good and we told ourselves that we are not going to lose this game and we don't want to go home. We came with determination."

"That is the mentality I put in them," Aduku explained, adding that he expects a number of his squad to now push for the senior national team.

"I think the girls are doing well. We need to do more. There is going to be a transition to the senior national team from this junior side. So they really need to apply themselves, this is just the platform."

With Winner Onajite David and Ramotalahi Kareem having scored three goals apiece in Poland, and Akekoromowei, Rafiu and Rebecca Adegbemile having netted two, Nigeria have demonstrated real strength in depth.
