2pcs of 350w at 55k each is 110k for 700w
2pcs of 450w at 80k each is 160k for 900w
Just 1pc of 715w panel is 151k for 715w

Which of these gives more value for money and easier to carry, easier to replace in case of damage, easier to install on roof and easier to spread the load balance across the roof?

Price of Panels are also a function of The Product/Maker.
For example, Canadian Solar costs about 30% more, for the same Wattage, than most of all these generic Ones that dont even give you the full stated Wattage or some of them are just 'pasted' Capacity, by you-know-who.

All the fear about High Capacity Panels are mostly unfounded.
- Small Wattage Panels means more number of Panels and therefore, more possible Point of Failure. If l carry three 715W Panels (255W) and someone else carry Ten Units of 250W (2500W), who is more likely to face a problem of connection point failure, in the nearest future?

- And Roof Space is always an issue with all these small-small Panels, even if it is your House, you still dnt want to litter the whole Roof space with too many small panels, it will spoil the beauty of the House because Roof are part of the aesthetics of a House.

- What exactly would damage a Panel that is on the Roof and working? Whatever can damage a High Capacity, can also damage a low Capacity Panel but one should just make sure his Panels are properly installed, use Thunder Arrester and Earth it properly. 20yrs from today, it is still working.

As long as the Building is Standard and not all those Old Mud Houses or Village Houses, it will carry the High Capacity Panels without any issue.
I am yet to see where High Capacity Panels collapse the Roof of a House.

If nepa wire can carry live AC current from transformer, then it should be safe..

If you check inside some solar panels cables, the wire is usually same whitish like nepa wire , though more flexible... So they should both be the same.

Buy new one from electrical stores... Full insulated bundle... (Naked one not advisable cos of lighting) Just know that they have different sizes (mm) ...

I use nepa wire for my set up... I think there are 4/5 strings inside and no problem whatsoever

if the battery juice leaked onto the battery terminals / contacts, and probably ate up those shiny metals, na to just change or fix them which is super simple.

Terminals are clean but it is the Board behind that looks scary

I opened it up and saw that the battery Juice had reached the Board and left some blue residue on it.
It is likely alkaline in nature and may have corroded some things.

I forgot Batteries inside this Multi Tester l bought and the Batteries leaked juice inside it.
Now, it does not come up again.
Can it be repaired, has anyone faced this issue and how did you resolve it.
I hate to think l have to throw it away, cost me #180K.

in situations such as this, you employ "elimination method" hence you first need ensure issue ain't the inverter first, then you move to the next. trying to randomly figure things out this way, especially with little knowledge na just gamble and a waste of time.

If you doubt it's a setting issue, try look for "ReSet" button and use that.

I will post my BMS settings, which l got from a You-tube Video of Installer, below.

Bit-by-bit, l am getting the hang of it.
My instincts are leaning towards "Low Inverter Capacity". or some limiting Factor by the BMS settings, on the Maximum Watts l can draw from the battery, through the inverter, at a time
My Inverter is 5KVA,
When l put on the Fridge, along with basic things that are always on (Phone Chargers, 3 Routers, about six LED bulbs, four Cameras, Two fans), it does not shut-off.
But despite turning off the Fridge and Fans (Other things remain On), Once l put on the Electric Cooker or Boiling Kettle or Microwave, it just Shutdown almost immediately and Battery Capacity goes to Zero (from the display on the Inverter!)

But strangely, if l then remove any of the high Power appliance above that caused the shutdown, and reboot the Inverter, the Battery Capacity displayed goes to about 50% - 75% and it could Power Fan and all those small-small items above, for the whole Night.

- So, reckon the Inverter display of Zero battery Capacity left, is false, otherwise it wont power small items through the whole night.
- If Battery can work all night on those small items, it means it has capacity more than 3KW that the Cooker should draw (but shuts it down).
This is why l am suspecting BMS is the one shutting things down

Or maybe l just need a bigger Capacity Inverter?
I would have thought about a 10KVA Inverter but that would require l sell my current 5KVA which is working perfectly, aside this unexplained shut down when l load a Cooker or AC or some other heavy load.

I want to ask, my current Inverter does not indicate l can Parallel it with another %KVA of same type.
Is there any workaround to this, whereby l buy the same 5KVA type and l am able to make them work together as a 10KVA

Has anyone been able to "join" two HYBRID Inverters (not the standard ones that has Parallel capability originally), to produce bigger output, maybe by WIRING Configuration (say, for example, join the 5kva output of one, with the 5kva of the other, into one single Output of 10kva, to Power Appliances and charge the Battery Bank?
I know some people are already wondering whether l get sense at all, nor vex, l am just exploring Options.

You are saying onces load is above 1kw inverter trips and gives overload on 5kw inverter?

The 5kva inverter has no allowance for surge and other peripheral appliances that's are running.

Yes, it works well on very low load, like a few LED Bulbs and Phone chargers and Router and fans even if l shut down everything and put on say a Cooker or Freezer or anything above 1Kw, it simple trips off and display fault error.

If I’m in your shoe, I will find out how much KWh my panels generates on an any given day and time; cos these past days, the sun’s intensity is at a low. You clearly missed to reveal that information.

If you feel your System is shutting off at such loads of 3000watts or 1.5hp, are there additional loads on the system? Do they all sum up above your inverter rating? Look at your PV generation and compare it with the total loads you intend to power.

If PV generation is lower, you are wasting your precious time. If PV generation is around the 5Kw region, then ensure that your total load is not exceeding your inverter rating.

But my thinking is that a 3000W Cooker or 1.5Hp pump should not overload a 5Kva inverter or run down battery of my size immediately or trigger two units of 200A BMS cut-off?

I need help over this issue l am experiencing.
My setup us 5KVA Inverter, 5500W (10UNIT) OF PV and DIY assembled LiPo4 26KW battery.
Initially, everything was fine but after about a few months, if l switch on 1,5hp Pump, it will shut down, if l switch on Electric Hot Plate (3000W), it will shut down, despite the Inverter indicating battery was full.

I decided to add more Panels (team Big panel member), so l added 5units of 650 Panels.
Still, the problem persist, it will shut down under the slightest load over 1KW.

I am at a point where l need to get things right and l am wondering over a few options.
1) Is my problem that of inadequate Power from Inverter (appliances demanding more than its max power output) or is it bad configuration?
2) Can /Should l buy another 5KVA Hybrid Inverter and put the later acquired 650W Panels on it separately and use it to charge my battery, would it provide additional power and prevent these shutdowns?
3) Should l buy an external CC and connect to the 650W x 5units of Panels, to charge the battery.

The last few days have been a total nightmare to me as I lost concentration and became uninterested in everything I normally do daily and lost confidence and half my of my weight.

I took the test because I wanted to be sure she is a changed person, have peace of mind, migrating my family abroad this year of which DNA evidence will be required of which I wont want to disgrace myself publicly. Despite the fact that none of the children bears any resemblance with me which was one of the many reasons I took the test.

After waiting for several days for the results to come in, they finally arrived. It is with gladness and joy in my heart, I announce announce the result of my paternity test. They all came back positive. All the children are mine with a 99.9% probability.

I became so happy that my family thinks I just won a lottery. I am a happy man today. As for my wife, I no longer care what she did in the past but for the fact that they are my children, I will love her forever.
