SHAYO O Life is sweet after I have had my five bottles of Heineken with some joints of Canadian Laud.I can remember my experience vividly while I was working at FBN headquarters on Lagos Island. Immediately I wake up in the morning, I am already on the elevator, bouncing down to Aja Joint to start my day with a joint of Laud with some local herbs. After this, I grab my breakfast while I am already waiting for the 12 pm alarm so I can go down again to the shanties bar where I take my two bottles which I step down with another joint of Canadian Laud and this makes me feel like my belly could contain a whole building. This was my everyday routine and I actually felt I was living a perfect life, but deep down, I was empty, my liver was failing, and my youthful body was metamorphosing into an old man’s look. And the most of it all is that, sometimes at night after overgauging myself and feeling like I had been poisoned, I always swear never to drink or smoke again, but immediately it is 6 am, I am already having my first shot for the day. What has been my gain from this lifestyle? I have lost; a lot of opportunities, respect from friends, and family ties just because of my shayo lifestyle. I am not sure not a Joy killer, nor am I a fun hater for writing this.in fact, I had the optimum fun in life, I loved every moments I had at oniru beach, Elegushi beach, Barracuda Beach every weekend. I enjoyed the time I smoked my Canadian laud in luxury hotels. I enjoyed the time I traveled different states of Nigeria visiting tourist centers, but the question is, is it time for me to live this kind of lifestyles. Let's take for instance, People say age is not maturity, yes it is not. A lot of people at the age of 30 do not have common sense of relation.But, you would meet a teenager in his early 20’s and while having a conversation, you would feel like you are talking to an adult of 50 years.Exactly the same is relative to social lifestyle there’s no particular time or age attached to ehr to live it. But the question is, are you ripe enohht for it? While I was in Jail, I met a lot of cigarettes smokers. But let me use my case partner Bigi as a case study. Story... You get right as a Nigerian?
