Funny enough an investment of 100m in 2015 used to buy 10 trucks at 10m each generating 500k permonth has generated only 220m in 5 years ....if i now take out depreciation and sell all the trucks todays at 6m each it will be 50m ....so in five years i have 260m and grey hairs while my oga invested in 5000sqm land facing an express way within an urban area and sold for 280m without any stress .....i ended up creating jobs for tyre sellers ,vulcanizer,spare part dealers,drivers ,motor boys and operations staff....insurance firms ......while my mentor was busy attending board meetings in 5 star hotels me i was busy doing shouting match and galvanizing around depots

Due to this lockdown and closure of schools, my kids schools started doing online schooling. The lesson notes are uploaded into the school portal which is accessible to both students and parents. I was always downloading them and going through. On a particular week lesson notes, i opened the Mathematics notes and saw the topic 'Mathematics of Finance'. Going through it, i saw compound interest as the topic to be taught. On getting home, i asked my son if he understood the topic and he said yes. I told him that he should ensure that he masters that topic very well as that topic is one of the secrets of becoming a millionaire or billionaire when he starts working. I also told him to go to google, search for the formula and put in some figures like 20k monthly at 5% for 20 years. He came back shocked at the amount.

Same here, TB gave a better return never thought of buying 20 years bond at 16% and diversify the returns.
