Roofing Stage: Installation of the King Post Truss at 4m Height. Strong, stable, and properly aligned for optimal roof support. 👷🏽🏠

I started this as side hustle last two months with 15 broilers chicken, now it's grow to 270, always selling after 6weeks,trying to expand it 2000 per batch before December. Don't forget to patronize me for bulk purchase.

Progress on site is steady and deliberate. We’ve completed the lintel casting, effectively tying the structure together and distributing loads across all openings. This stage is critical, and it has been executed with proper alignment and reinforcement to ensure long-term structural stability. Blockwork is now advancing beyond lintel level, bringing the building closer to roofing stage. At this phase, our priorities remain: • Structural integrity from foundation to roof level • Accurate alignment across all wall lines • Clean and consistent finishing ahead of roofing We don’t just build for today;; we build for durability, strength, and value. Next phase: Roof preparation. GoldenView Building & Construction Ltd Building with precision. Delivering with integrity.

Blockwork nearing lintel stage. This is where the structure begins to work as one; distributing load efficiently down to the foundation. Strength is not assumed, it’s built. ![]() You can check the thread to see the wonderful work we're doing at this site. https://www.nairaland.com/8428713/construction-5-rooms-self-contain

We’ve just received a new order for a studio apartment. The scope remains the same, just a different location. Despite the recent increase in material costs, we are maintaining the same agreed price. Our commitment remains unchanged; quality delivery with zero compromise on standards. We build with integrity. We deliver with excellence.

Final finishing stage . Affordable construction, proper land management, and consistent delivery.

diordaves:Not at all sir. The other shots were taken from the hillside. This picture was taken before the strap beam and the internal beams that tie the entire substructure together were installed. Those beams are what lock the foundation, distribute the load properly, and stabilize the structure while it rests on the naturally compacted earth filling. I shown earlier. The thread is on my page. Feel free to check and comment.

Someone reached out today to commend the 5-unit self-contain project we started months ago. He said he was just walking past when he saw the work and admired it; because the planning showed sense, experience, and a proper understanding of the terrain. 😇👷🏽♂️ And guess what? We handled the entire foundation when the land was still soft during the rainy season. We excavated the hill side, used it to backfill, and stabilised the structure despite one side being a natural water path and the other sitting on a slope. Now that everything is opening up in the dry season, people can clearly see the value of the strategic work we did months ago. We’re resuming very soon to complete the building and properly channel the water path into the gutter for long-term drainage control. GoldenView Building & Construction Ltd; Building with foresight, not guesswork. 🏗️💛

I spend most of my time driving from one site to another supervising and executing projects. Fueling alone costs me nothing less than ₦600,000 every month. There’s hardly a day I don’t buy at least ₦10k fuel; sometimes a full tank if I’m traveling. How person wan succeed like this? 🥲 Sometimes it feels like the system is designed to drain those who are actually working. |
Saw this pic online ![]() When you allow artisans to make technical decisions, you pay twice. Using double walls in place of reinforced columns isn’t engineering; it’s decoration. A proper retaining wall must be designed to resist earth pressure, not just “look strong.” Once the soil starts pushing, unreinforced blocks will always fail. How do you even compact a retaining wall when there’s no column or strap beam to hold the foundation? That’s why supervision and structural detailing are non-negotiable in every project. 💪🏽🏗️ GoldenView Building & Construction Ltd; we’ve always got your back. 🔰

redgem:Thank God there’s still partial passage; that makes it easier to flush out the debris without breaking the pipe. This is exactly why every conduit plumbing line should be properly covered immediately after installation; it saves you from future blockages and unnecessary rework. If you can get a long hose connected to a water supply, insert it into the pipe and keep pushing gently until the debris or dried cement dissolves and water begins to flow freely. |
SamIsreal:in most cases here in Nigeria we don’t separate them; mainly to save cost and because of space limitations. But the downside is that kitchen waste (especially oil and food particles) tends to block the soakaway faster and cause odour with time. So when space or budget allows, it’s always better to separate them. |
SamIsreal:Yes, ₦9,000 per square meter covers both workmanship and materials. The project is around Mowe axis, but location isn’t a barrier; we already have logistics in place to handle projects anywhere. The rate might vary slightly based on design and specifications, but it gives a fair idea of a reasonable cost range for quality work. |
. |
SamIsreal:Save yourself the headache; just ask for the installer’s price per square meter. Requesting a detailed breakdown of a quotation often leads to inflated costs and exaggerated material estimates, especially when the artisan is the one handling the purchase and you’re not familiar with the materials. On our ongoing project, I charged my client ₦9,000 per square meter; this not only reduced her total cost but also saved her from unnecessary stress and price manipulation. |
gaeul:Technically in Nigeria soil condition, Anything from 4 foundation courses upward is prone to cracks. If you can afford it, it's best to introduce a plinth beam. Note: a plinth beam is different from columns ;they don’t serve the same structural purpose. |
gaeul:Depends on the type of land and the foundation height. By the way, how many courses did you raise for your foundation? |

Is this how it will keep going Silence and blame while terrorist killing and kidnapping our people. Pointing fingers at tribe won't stop these terrorists.
