You just need the clear copy of your passport data page, but preferably your NIN card or slip. Any of these can work.

When I registered for the ISD portal, I used a photocopy of my passport and it worked.

So if you have a colored photocopy hard copy of your passport, you can try it.

You can check the ISD customer service portal to know your application status. You can use your NIN to register as your passport is not with you.

Your real processing timeline actually starts from the date 'received by the Embassy' stated on the VFS tracker ( https://www.vfsvisaonline.com/Global-Passporttracking/Track/Index? ) "Your Processed Application ref no. IRLXXXXXXXX has been received by the Embassy of Ireland on XX/XX/2026".

A mail was sent to the person on July 3rd even when they haven't updated the list on the website..

lol, I emailed them, they responded saying “This application is in queue for processing”.

They can take their time, I just pray at the end of the wait I will rejoice.
