All the PDP senators who are pushing Bukola Saraki to disrespect his elders will not pack their load and join him in prison if he is sentenced. We gathered that Saraki is having a rethink.

In fact, strong indications have emerged that Saraki is now prepared to bow to the position of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, by begging the principal officers he appointed to resign.

Saraki has also begged Asiwaju Bola Tinubu secretly and pledged his loyalty, through his wife...

According to Vanguard, part of the unwritten agreement for Saraki to escape going to prison is for him to go back to the initial list of the party on the appointment of principal officers in the Senate.

This was part of the political solution being worked out by the Speaker of House of Reps, Yakubu Dogara.

A source said Dogara and the leadership of APC in the Senate held a marathon meeting at the new wing of the Senate complex on Tuesday evening, where it was agreed that the current holders of the Majority Leadership positions should give way to those agreed by the party leaders.

The source noted that Saraki had been under pressure to intimate his supporters in the Senate, including Senate Leader, Ali Ndume; his Deputy, Bala Ibn Na’allah, and Deputy Majority Whip, Senator Francis Alimikhena, on the need to toe the party’s line as regards the composition of Senate Leadership.

According to a source, the Senate President had communicated Ndume and Na’Allah about the decision of the party on the need for them to vacate the offices in order to save him from going to prison.

It will be recalled that APC had on June 24 written the Senate President and Speaker Dogara, listing names of proposed occupants of the leadership positions.

While Dogara kept faith with the party’s list, Saraki blatantly and arrogantly ignored the party.

Catrina hopes to lose even more weight along with the 140lbs of excess skin she has been left with for which she has set up a GoFundMe to raise the $10,000 (£6,468) needed for operations to remove it.

However Catrina says she had always had problems with her weight, following years of s*xual abuse as a child. She said she found comfort in sweet, sugary snacks and secret eating. Her eating habit led to this.

Pastors and leaders of the Assemblies of God Church really need to halt this show of shame. Enough!

A faction of the Church has been dragged to the EFCC by the Assistant General Superintendent, accusing the factional General Superintendent and six others of alleged fraudulent conversion of funds running into billions of Naira.

The Assistant General Superintendent, Rev. Ramsey Ogagaoghene in a petition addressed to the EFCC noted that the factional General Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Chidi Okoroafor and six others allegedly embezzled over N100 billion belonging to the church, adding that Rev. Okoroafor was the Assistant General Superintendent until March, 2014 when he could not account for funds of the church and formed a parallel group that threw the church into crisis.

On account of the petition dated September, 2015 submitted to the Commission by Mr. Eli Ugwu, counsel to the petitioner and four others, the group urged the Commission to investigate the alleged fraudulent conversion of money and embezzlement of funds belonging to the church by Rev. Okoroafor and his cohorts as they approved money for projects without due process of the church, and allegedly executed such projects by themselves....
