"Cristiano Ronaldo opened a football academy in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, an event where he was accompanied by Ukraine's Andrei Shevchenko. Ronaldo, wearing a white shirt and a cap, delighted the children, chatting with them for quite a long time, and the many fans, for whom he patiently signed autographs. Ronaldo, tanned and smiling broadly, also posed for numerous photos with a football." You've just read the news from 7 July 2013, when then-Real Madrid star attended the opening of the academy associated with Dinamo Tbilisi, a local powerhouse which has decided to invest in their talented kids. And among them was a 12-year-old boy who got a chance to meet his idol, CR7, in person. That boy was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Less than 13 years later, the two of them met again, only this time in Gelsenkirchen, as Khvicha's Georgia and Ronaldo's Portugal faced off in the last group game in the European Championship. And just 90 seconds into the game Khvicha netted for a shocking Georgia's lead, which was the foundation of his side's later much-deserved 2-0 triumph that has sent them into the knockout stage in their maiden Euros' appearance. Moreover, Kvaradona earned a Man of the Match reward as he outperformed his idol, who left the pitch in the second half frustrated. The Napoli forward celebrated the sensational achievement of his side in the dressing room with a traditional Georgian dance. Later, he posted a story on social media with the Man of the Match trophy and Ronaldo's shirt, with the caption: "Dreams". https://youtube.com/shorts/LzOOe8V0BIM?si=dshNjWSOP6Yecc7b

A shocking video captured the moment a bull elephant in Zambia charged at a safari vehicle flipping it over several times and killing an 80-year-old American woman during an expedition. The unidentified woman was among six tourists with the group Wilderness Zambia who were out on a photography tour Saturday, March 30, when they came under attack by the crazed animal, the Telegraph reported. “At around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning the six guests were on the game drive when the vehicle was unexpectedly charged by the bull elephant,” Wilderness Zambia CEO Keith Vincent said in a statement. Distressing footage captured by a passenger shows the elephant charging toward the vehicle as it cruises along a bush-lined road before suddenly stopping when its path was blocked. The passenger continues to record as the animal lunges at the vehicle and flips it over. The elderly woman later died of her injuries while another woman remains hospitalized. The other four guests were treated for minor injuries after the violent attack. “Our guides are all extremely well-trained and experienced, but sadly in this instance the terrain and vegetation was such that the guide’s route became blocked and he could not move the vehicle out of harm’s way quickly enough,” Vincent said. Former Police Public Relations Officer for zone 2 and Lagos State Command, CSP Dolapo Badmos Opeyemi, has shared a video of an elderly couple fighting over feeding money. In the clip she posted on her Instagram page on Sunday, March 31, 2024, the woman is heard demanding money from her husband for food, saying she is hungry. “Give me money to eat. I am hungry. Did you buy any land for me? Look at me? I built a shop there, it was destroyed. Give me money. I 'm hungry. Give me money. That your wallet, bring it out,” the woman said. Reacting to the video, Opeyemi said it's heartbreaking that a couple who should be taken care of by their children are fighting over money for feeding. “I saw this video on Facebook, and I took my time to watch it keenly. After identifying the fact that this is not a skit or acting in any form, I couldn't stop crying. These people are so elderly,” the police officer wrote. “They should be in the nonagenarian category. It breaks my heart to see them fighting over feeding! Just feeding? It's believed that at this age, their children should be around them. Where are they? Anyways, the children's whereabouts are not of concern here. "My concern is that, please, I need anyone to help me locate them or my representative will visit them. They surely need help. I want to feed them from my salary for one year. GOD help me. Anyone with useful information should please assist us in finding them....please I beg. My heart aches and won't rest until I find them, please.” See video below https://afripeeps.com/threads/vdeo-of-elderly-nigerian-couple-fighting-over-feeding-money.862/
