WHY MY FLAT MATE THOUGHT I WAS A YAHOO BOY Having multiple sources of income in this modern and dynamic age is non-negotiable as the prices of things are increasing daily while most salary are either stagnant or even reduced by the day. To add to this pain in the life of youths is the need to man up to our various responsibilities such as maintaining our personal standard of living, helping out our siblings and cousins financially, meeting up to the demands of other numerous financial obligations without defrauding anyone. My name is Michael, a young man living in one of the metropolitan city of Lagos, Ikeja. I am privileged to study Mass Communications in one of the prestigious universities in Nigeria and graduated with a Second Class Honors (Upper Division). During my days as an undergraduate, I put in all my efforts to study hard as I had the believed of putting in my best in all I do to get excellent results. Hmmm! Life happens. After my graduation, as every other youths, I was deployed to serve my father’s land, Nigeria. I was deployed to Gombe State where I also carried out my primary assignment with all diligence living on the monthly allowance from the Federal Government and zero allowance from the State I served. In as much as I am not a spendthrift, I heard very small amount of money in my savings account as little is left after spending on the necessary things like feeding, transportation and data. Some months after this unforgetable period of my life, I got my discharge certificate on my Passing Out Parade (POP) day from my Local Government Inspector (LGI) with a wide grin of relief and hope of getting a lucrative job on having my discharge certificate (we all know that to get government jobs and to work in a well paying organization in Nigeria, you must have your NYSC discharge certificate). As expected, I packed my belongings back to my family house in Agege, Lagos to settle down with them for the period I will get a job that will pay my bills but unfortunately the good jobs were not forthcoming after several applications, some tests and very few oral interviews which eventually did not yield the desired results. Then one day, out of the need to get my own personal legal means of income I searched the internet for examples of lucrative jobs one can do to make money (while still searching for physical jobs) as a fresh graduate of Mass Communication. I saw so many options in the online space such as Freelancing, Copywriting, Graphics Design, Web Design and Affiliate Marketing. I showed keen interest in Affiliate marketing and I tried surfing the internet and speaking with people who can guide me on how to go about it. Affiliate marketing has a way it helps one to combine these other various skills to earn much more than just one of the other skills at a time. Thanks to God, I grew in the business as I started making 25-50k per week even as a newbie in Affiliate marketing and with time I increased in my earning. Time and necessity forced me to rent my own flat in one of the metropolitan area (Ikeja) of Lagos State after six months in the business. As against the normal way of life my other flatmates are used to, I was looked upon as a weird guy became I am basically indoor with my pyjamas on most of the time. Where they had problem mainly with me was the fact that I pay my bills (utilities bills) even before they asked despite them not seeing me going to work as they do. Some thought I was from a wealthy family whose parents give weekly allowance while the others took me for a Yahoo boy because they sometimes see me in the cool of the evening typing with my laptop and speaking with some people on phone in front of my flat while getting the evening breeze and working also as an Affiliate marketer. The truth is that none asked me what kind of business I am doing or why I am not working as they are among my flat mates except a fellow young guy about 25 years old. At a point, almost all of them became suspicious and hostile to me buy you know what I was not moved. Little did they know that I earn as high as what most of them earn in three months combine in a week. At this stage, I have started earning as high as 250-300k per week. Then the narrative changed two months after the 25 year old guy was introduced to Affiliate marketing. The guy told them what we are doing and they have a change of mindset as two other young flat mates became Affiliate marketers through us and are doing very well financially. They now understand that not everyone earning digitally is a Yahoo boy. I am not a YAHOO BOY! ________________________________________ Hey, I am Ayodele OLUTOKE. The above is for one of my friend who is also doing well as an Affiliate Marketer. He is now even earning as much as 900k per month at the comfort of his room. Who else want to be earning in the comfort of his room through the use of his laptop and phone? I believe you won’t want to be an exception. This is an opportunity for you to step up your financially life and join this lucrative and highly rewarding business. I will be giving access to just 50 people to have access to one of the kind of video training Michael got that made his financial life improve by being an Affiliate marketer for FREE. HOW I LOST MY #250k JOB IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY MARRIAGE Apart from love, peace, mutual understanding and satisfying s*x, sufficient money is one of the major things that newly wedded need in their marriage. I am a young career man that got married to his heart throb, Felicia on the 11-01-2020 in the city of Calabar. It was a colourful weekend in Calabar on this wonderful day as I was joined to my charming and gorgeous lover that weekend. The ceremony was a grand styled one starting from the traditional wedding, church wedding, reception and then to our honey moon. The occasion was graced by friends, relatives and well wishers who supported us in prayers, cash and kind. It was a memorable day for me. We lodged in a hotel after the ceremony that night after which we took a flight to Lagos the next morning so as to keep our gifts in the apartment I rented in Victoria Island, Lagos. Then we proceed on our honeymoon to the Maldives, a country in Asia, the dream place my wife as always fantasized about while we were dating due to the lushness and their tourist attractions like the Hulhumale known for its Mesmerizing Beauty. It was really fun and a time we both can’t never forget. We literaly spent almost 90% of our savings on our wedding ceremony and honeymoon with the hope of getting back the money we spent on the wedding ceremony as soon as possible. Everything looked well planned in the sense that the wedding ceremony happened a month and few days before the global COVID-19 pandemic. So, we were already back and settled from Maldives. My worst nightmare happened when I lost my job six months after the wedding ceremony. It all looked like a dream when my Human Resource Manager of the company told me that the company is downsizing and so I have been relieved of my duties in the company because of fall in her revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic which shook almost all the economy of the world including the company. Before this happened, I was paid #125,000 the previous month which was half of my monthly salary (because I was working from home due to the lockdown). I had to accept my fate, retired home angry and dejected that day. Even my wife was able to sense something wrong from the exchange of pleasantries when I got home before I broke the sour news to her. She went down sobbing like a child because my salary was the main source of income to the family which we are using to settle our recurring bills and pay the debts we incurred due to our wedding ceremony. Basically, the means for paying back our debts and managing ourselves ceased. Thanks to God and my mother-in-law who gave us handouts to manage ourselves for sometimes. As expected, debtors were expecting their monthly paybacks without knowing what has happened. At first, some gave us the grace of the first month but by the second month all the debtors started harassing us, sending us some deafening comments which are very unpleasant to the ears. This lingered and led to my wife and me agreeing to sell some of the gifts we got during our wedding ceremony as there was no one willing to loan us some money to settle the angry debtors. On the other side of this ugly situation, my wife was tested to be two months pregnant, a quagmire as there was no much cash at hand to sponsor her Ante-natal care as expected. Then one day (about three months later), I came across one of my old secondary school class mate, Gerald by name. He was well dressed with visible features that life has been good to him in all ways on the street of Lagos when I was busy job hunting for a new job. We got talking, I explained to him my challenges and he smiled widely. Initially, I was angry but I just comported myself. He explained the reason for smiling as the fact that he had been in my condition not until he got some video trainings he bought online and implemented the concepts their which changed his story and gave him a good and steady passive income of at least 4-5 figures by implementing what is in the trainings. Out of his generosity he shared me the link to the introduction of the training. On getting home, I told my five month old pregnant wife about it, she accepted the idea, we got the trainings for a token (compared to the profit we have made by implementing what we were taught in the training) and started implementing all that were taught on how to upload page word documents on Amazon and now we smile to my bank ATM weekly. This I simply do at the comfort of my room without any stress. Today, we are much better off because apart from getting another lucrative job, we constantly apply what we learnt in the training to have a good passive income of at least about 100k to 150k monthly at our spare time. Thanks so much Mr. Gerald for introducing the video training to me. ============================= ============================= Hello, I am Ayodele OLUTOKE, the story above is for one of my close friend that got married before the COVID-19 lockdown in Nigeria.
