Mr Kalan, No one is complaining about the past question or the exam questions given. What we are saying is that the coordination, population control and organisation of the EXAM was below par! That's the bone of contention here. How will they collect that much money, and we still had to go through what we had to go through. Thank goodness nobody died; we would have been saying something different. Were they not aware of the expected examinees before they fixed the date? C'mon. Let's face facts. 1. There was no Public address system 2. Only One "birthday" Canopy for over 3000 students..lol 3. No chairs for the "waiting candidates" 4. Coupled with the fact that rain fell throughout, some of us had to stay in the rain for more than 5 hours; and there was no sense of urgency on the part of the examiners 5. Half of the candidates had "login issues" ( candidate not found) and that's not a "SERVER ERROR". That's "Programming Error" I think it will be shameful for anyone to come up here to complain about how hard the questions were. I don't know about anyone but that's not why I'm here. Your past questions are "past" questions. Even the ones we did on saturday are now "past question" and not EXPO...lol , so it should be treated as such.. But we don't give a hoot about that. After the NIS tragedy, who cared to ask about the type of questions that were on the test sheet that NIS gave to over 900,000 applicants (of which over 30 died)?? No one! It was the organisation and coordination of the test that we were all bitter about; and the same goes for the unilag exam. Period! kalan: |
prettyboi1989:My thoughts exactly. I guess he's just trying to protect his business interest as a PQ dealer.... I dont think it would be wise for anyone to rely solely on any PAST QUESTION anyway. |

teevyne01:Yes o. Its a 45 minutes test, the questions are randomised( they don't come in sections). Simple algebras, ratios, word problems and probability; Antonyms and synonyms of "never heard before" words...lol, and A LOT of questions from your core subject. To be honest, the past question was entirely useless. Al you need is just manipulative skills and common sense. And the Time is very short. I think the time used for the exam is different from our conventional time, because the 45 mins, looked like 20 minutes at the end of the day... Lol. Overall, the questions are not difficult; only the part where we had to stay under the rain for 5 hours, and the part where we had to queue at the entrance like sardines just to hear our name. Thank God Nigeria is Ebola free lol . I wonder how much it will cost unilag to buy a megaphone. SMH |
Nairalanders, for the rest of us preparing for the exams, i want you all to also prepare for an unrecorded, unnecessary endurance trek, and sun/rain scotching. I have never seen such a disorganised exam before in my whole life. Yesterday, We(mba, msc. Managt. Etb) queued under the rain for more than 5 hours,(just for a 45 mins test). It is indescribable. I thought the CBT was meant to reduce the stress attached with paper-based test; i thought wrong... I know that everyone that wrote the test yesterday experienced the same thing. Lol. It is well. |
