Yes the prices are for Toyota....sure you can go with me to Cotonou Cars market.

Chief, you didn't get back to me as per the nissan in place of toyota hiace. What year of nissan bus can i get with 2million

oviecardealer:
You are right..however,2m can get you a 1997model because 2000 model is estimated about 2.5m while a 2010 model is estimated around 7.5m naira total cost to land Lagos.

I want to believe the price given is for toyota but i would't mind nissan. Also i want to confirm if i can go with you to cotonou?

Give me a year you want.... to enable me give you the estimate with duty to land lagos.

Am looking at something between 2000 and 2010. Am also conscious of the cost. I know that the higher the year, the more expensive or better still can we do it this way, what can a budget of 2.0million get me.

Good Morning

sholatech:
Please which other country has Govt backed Business Plan competition for annual 1,000 grant entrepreneurs?
Let's not deride everything Nigerian.
Mtn did their first edition few years back after with fewer applications and to give only 3 winners. How long did it take to announce the winners?
To public knowledge, every phase of YOUWIN goes through series of Quality Assurance before lists are announced
@Sholatech, am not deriding anything here, FG and the Youwin team have done a good job of going through the youwin1, youwin2 and now Youwin3 if what we are used to here in Nigeria is anything to go by. My point was just that a year period to sieve through and give grants is rather long, remember that it will take approximately another one year to fully disburse the funds. I will get you the list of few countries that have done something similar in the past! though am not sure if they gave up to 1200 awardees. I came across it while i was doing some background research on youwin.
Business / Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by Oluwajohn: 2:11pm On Sep 15, 2014
One year is just too long for a business plan competition. In other countries where this is done, its completed in 3 to 4 months. The most important thing is that let the result be released so that we all know our fate!
Business / Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by Oluwajohn: 12:09pm On Aug 30, 2014
I hope we won't have to wait another 2 months after the last interview today to get the final result. There is a way this waiting for the YOUWIN final list tie you down from not doing some other things you would have love to go ahead with

It was Ok Sha. We spent about 20 minutes arguing that I should rent a place for my school instead of building my own structures. At last I have to agree with them so that we can move on. The experience is the same Sha!

@medoty, am also into the education thing. What kind of school is yours.

neksummi: They weren't conversant with my biz and they didn't want to learn. I was in the validation hall by that 12pm ur talking. Went in around 2pm. Panel 11 interviewed me. I didn't enjoy. They know little about internet business and e-payment solution and they just weren't open. Imagine someone telling you in this era of cashless economy that e-payment solution isn't tangible!

Tot i was the only one that the panelist didn't understand my business. The more i tried to explain the more they chose not to understand! Its all good, trusting that something good will come out of this

eetua:
Go to the CAC office get the form for N500 (Availability check and reservation of name form)
Fill the form with the two names and make photocopy of the form
Ask for the Youwin help desk, thats where you will submit it to fast track it.
Go back to the CAC office 2 or 3 days after you submit the name form to get the result of your search
Remember to ask for the Youwin helpdesk, that is what will fast track what you want, otherwise you can spend a month for the name search alone.
Wishing you the best... Hope you win and i Win too
Please us there a youwin help desk at the cac ikeja branch. Submitted my reg for 3weeks now and no response. I was there this past week and I was told to come back next week. Probably if I talk to them at the youwin help desk, things may get faster
