I think what really happens is that when a certain people are shown/introduced to a way of life/thinking that is different from theirs and from all indications a lot more progressive than theirs, they tend to jump ship. It could not have being a bad idea but for the fact that there was no game plan in the former culture. For the most of us in this thread and in the society who are always clamouring that we do not abandon our culture, I got some questions for you. What progressive development have these cultures given us? What form of economic, social , political and technological advancement have these cultures instilled in us? If we were truly left to ourselves to move to the future along with the rest of the world, what would we exactly be moving on with? 1 Like |

One thing still stands as regards tradition. AS LONG AS A CERTAIN TRADITION CANNOT ADD PROGRESSIVE VALUE TO THE LIVES OF IT'S FOLLOWERS, IT WILL SURELY FADE AWAY. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME. When I say tradition, I mean all forms of tradition, culture and religion. 2 Likes |

Hello house, Am in dere need of your help here. My phone discharges while it is plugged to a charger. I noticed that when I switch it off to charge, it behaves normally and charges well. But once I turn it on, the charge percentage keeps reducing instead of increasing. NB... I use the device as a hotspot on a regular basis. |

1, I do not have a problem with whatever federal asset that wants to be sold. My main cause of concern is the SALES PROCEED. It must not be looted by the same/different politicians that put the country in its present economic state. 2, If the federal government still stubbornly decides to sell off these assets, they should not touch any asset located in the Niger Delta Area. If/When they are able to give us a honest and detailed expenditure map of how the sale proceeds will be spent, only then will we give them our support. 1 Like 1 Share |

While the OP faults the way the church tends to pool funds from the public, I on the other hand fault the project itself. RCCG will never see anything wrong with spending billions on naira executing their "camp projects" while millions of local parishes on the grassroot level wallow away in penury and underdevelopment. A lot of rccg parishes can be seen scattered all over the country and the structural state of most of the is nothing to write home about. It is not about setting up a church. Christian has a STANDARD. But Rccg in very recent years has proved to the world that Christianity has no standard at all. Shanty built structures with poor organisation. RCCG should stop painting its camp ground with unneccesary swag while its grassroot parishes which are the real FACE of the church wallow away in penury. |
