Assertively the governor lied and the state is broke so expect your salary in the month of march.

What is a twist? look nigeria is going into serious recession if care is not taken.. All thanks to massive embelzement both in federal and state levels. However, delay of salaries are chiefly a faac matter.. Disbursements have not been done.. States have to wait until such to pay salaries.... The biggest surprise is how nigeria fastly felt the effect of the oil down fall.. By now we were made to believe that nigeria is becoming less dependent in crude and also, our reserves will serve as buffers even if crude prices change downwards .. What is happening portends a greater fear that our reserves might hve been far depleted before the oil fall.. Thus, the goverments inability to do basic neccessities...

The banks that paid december salaries did so at their own expense and in promise it will be gotten back.. You cannot blame other banks who refuses to take such risks...

Guy since you are the spoke person of the governor in case you missed it, the governor affirmed that "he has paid december salary to all civil servants in rivers state, not some but all"

Someone posted about this few days ago and it seems nobody listened. I'll have to repeat it again; "banks are not responsible for the delay in payment". the bitter truth is salaries won't be paid unti after the FAAC meeting. I'm close to some "ogas" in the ministry of finance so I'm quite sure of what I'm saying. Transfer of funds is currently ongoing and not just the teachers are been owed but all civil servants in the state (exception of the three banks that paid). That said, a reasonable time to start expecting payments should be from the 16th

No salary up till now while ur colleagues have been paid in the same office and you're yet to be paid ... All hail APC agenda... Its a pity, so pple that live in PH that has to spend atleat 1200k to nd fro to interior ogoni land to teach the ogoni children will have to walk to work eeeeh ! My brother stay calm, the government will pay when ever they have money because some of our colleagues are usually paid 27-31 of every month so yours have joined the crew.

My brother thank you for this question. The delay in the payment of salary affect all civil servants in the State and not the Teachers only.

The Nigeria Labour Congress in the state was congratulating the Governor for the payment of December salary and Xmas bonus to all civil servants in the state, so your assertion is incorrect, there is no money in the state, it has been used for Buhari's campaign. More so, the Governor had lied.
