@ obasy, I've checked d list but I wasn't recommended for admission. I've decided to move on too. I told a friend who went for clearance about it. He checked at the department (Economics) but, he was asked if I was present for their screening test. The point is, Economics had a form of pre-admission test but, more like they just sampled some persons. Congratulations again to those who are successful and best of luck to the rest of us.

How d Matric now?

I really am becoming very disappointed in UI. I heard they are having their matriculation on Friday and they still have not published a confirmed or final list of admitted candidates and, the dept. of Economics I don't know or can't really tell whether or not have shortlisted or contacted their recommended candidates.If really they're matriculating on friday, then I think it's a wrong way to handle d rest of us that haven't known our fate as regards the UI admission thing. I miss my alma mater, something like this rarely happens. Nothing personal Oooo, just tired.

@ Obasy09, I have my hands crossed in prayers for us, I pray God grants us his favor. So, when are we likely to hear from them?

@Dayo8080, plssss my Cousin applied for Mathematical Sciences but, he wasn't sent an invitation mail for the test. Pls When and how where you contacted for the test? What area of mathematics did you apply for?

I just checked through the list as well, didn't find any for my department (Department of Economics). I guess it hasn't been published. Congrats to all who have been recommended and I pray God's favor on the rest of us that are still awaiting further updates and those not recommended.

Plsssss, does anyone know if the dept of Economics in faculty of the social sciences organized any screening exercise for her prospective PG applicants in UI? Pls I need to know whether or not I have missed out.

@ Obasy09, thank God I finally have found a fellow prospective PG Economist at UI. I have the same report about my application as with yours and I also didn't get any invitation for screening of any form for the 2012/2013 academic session. Recommendation by department "Not yet determined"
