Hi people I am happy that this thread is putting a lot of smiles on your faces as per getting opportunities close to you since I started this thread more than two years ago in order to debunk the notion that you have to pay to get into the movie industry.

But it has come to my attention some of the challenges some of you face trying to get to these auditions. Apart from the money ripping frauds (mostly from FESTAC) who try to get money from people coming for auditions, (NB- if anybody wants you to to pay to display your own skills for his own benefit, that's the definition of fraud) I was horrified when I got word that some actors were robbed when they went to a particular audition. Here I try my best to verify the authenticity of the notices I place here which has made me ban notices that ask for money and I hardly post notices telling people to call particular numbers without physical addresses. (This was the case with the place the robbery happened)but you all can help me. hmm if i mention producers wey don collect my money I fit cover like 2pages ooo


If any of you have had any bad experiences with particular producers let the house know of it here so that we can name and shame those idiots. Anyone who advertises auditions for the purpose of scamming people of their money or having sex should be named here and if you can't do that here just PM me. As much as we complain about the government the first step to changing any bad situation is to take responsibility instead of sitting down and being aloof. Let's do our little part in sanitizing our industry. Thanks y'all.

Or who should choose a career?. The parent or the child.
I watched a movie where a man lost his son to suicide because from the day of his birth. The father said this my child must be a doctor but the boy's brain was not in line with the father's wish he tried his best, but the best wasn't enough, he failed again and again but was wishing if he could be allowed to play the football he always wanted to. In the end frustration led the boy to commit suicide.

I was told that is either you choose Common Law or common and Sharia law(combine law). Common Law requires English, Lit-in-eng, Govt and anyother art subject but combine law utme subjects are Eng., Lit in eng, govt and Islamic studies. M also an aspirant too but I dont have Islamic religion studies on my o level result because of this I cant go for combine law but common. In short my UTME subjects are Eng. Literature, Govt and Yoruba. Going for common law.
