I read the news about Emefiele's seized 750 houses on nairaland this evening, and noticed the Minister of Housing mentioned 'Renewed Hope Homes'. Just out of curiosity, I searched it on google, and Lo and behold there are actually new homes being constructed in several states which are already available for sale for cash, or with a government loan of just 7%!. Compare that to a commercial bank mortgage that is more than 30%.

The website functions excellently and prices are much cheaper than the equivalent houses in the open market.

Yet, most Southerners, (including me until today) are not aware of these opportunities.

our problem for South here is " I too know". We claim to know everything, we brag about even what we are not, we see things from the lenses of govt propaganda, while the perceived unwise northerners are taking advantage of everything that comes from govt irrespective of the conditions attached to them.

It is normal in civil proceedings, the Plaintiff and Defendants are not necessarily needed in court at this preliminary stage until trial day unlike criminal proceedings where the defendant must be present in court through out except on special circumstances.
