We have been establishing universites in high numbers since 1975...and many of them are badly funded. TO fund them adequately would require an educaiton budget that is five times or more than our current national budget.

The funny thing is that many of you will demand the unis charge fees less than N50000....and at the end, they will look like glorified secondary schools.

It's very easy to 'build something', but maintaining it to global standard is another thing.

oga, leave all those your analysis and move forward. There's nothing you people will not complain about. Let the Ogonis reject it then I would understand. Make una rest.

The issue with Ogoniland is cleanup and environmental restoration not education about environment cleanup. How will a university of environment help with the clean up or restore the ecosystem?

How does it restore the livelihood and living of the longsuffering people of Ogoniland

Will it also ensure that best practices are employed in further oil activities to prevent a reoccurrence of the previous disaster on an even worse scale?

the battle is not for Tinubu only. The southern governors need to speak with one voice and possibly win some few governors from the middle belt and they will get the majority say, same with the national assembly.
