good day everyone on nairaland, a friend of mine is actually d person concerned, though I have given my own advice, I still feel I should bring it on here and hear people's advice... he is a pipeline welder of SMAW though job hasn't been forthcoming for a while and now he is have to consider either working a refugee visa to Canada which cost around 13k dolls according to d agent or get a degree here in Nigeria or any neighbouring country then plan on, am hoping nigerian peeps in Canada and on nairaland would give advice on whether it's worth d huge cash and also give der opinion.. also he has a sponsor for either choice made.....

first I say complement to everyone who's gonna come on this page... now back to d matter, what's wrong wIth d world of today, y is truth so hard to agree with, y do we judge mostly base on preconceived notions and prejudice, y are things so close but yet seem very far cause the whole world is out of order, y is it, dat things are so clear but yet still we choose the wrong ones... passed by a police station d other day somewhere around yaba and act I saw wasn't something to keep quiet over, apparently on that day the young victim could b in his mid 20s, was beaten and maltreated all because he was caught with possession of cannabis, something so natural and harmless...looking at the perpetrators, two men in there force attire, I could tell that they were acting based on the self backing assurance, permit and assurance they got from there supposed oga @ d top, now these brings me to deep inquisition as to why cigarette and tobacco are been legalized as against cannabis whose potential threat posed can't be compared to cigarette or tobacco.. maybe doctors on NL can help out by telling us what we don't know as regards to the health hazards dats attached to persistence use of either substance....

I was BORN in the 80's, the last SANE generation... We are the last that played in the street, we were the first who played video games, watched cartoons with no colours and went to the amusement parks. We were the last generation in NAIJA to fly kites and play okada competition with rubber bands. We were the last to record songs of the radio on cassettes, we are the pioneers of walk mans and chatrooms. We learned how to programme the VCR before anyone else, played the Atari, boju-boju, suwe, ten-ten, tinko-tinko, after round 1, Nintendo and believe that the internet would be a free world. We never had cellphones, but somehow some ways we still kept in touch. We did not have Sony plantations, x-box, 99 television stations, rather we waited till 4pm for our dear NTA to interstin Tele match, Had no flat screens, surround sound, mp3 players, ipods, computers and the internet.
