I see where the sport management comes in. Let's track back to the questions:

Question: Why did you choose the school?
Answer: I choose the school because the school has strong academic training for leadership in sport management and their renowned faculty, some who are leaders in sport caught my interest.

Note: Saying when admitted by CUMS the school offers options in golf, teawondo and leadership is called volunteering of info in U.S system of interview (either at the embassy or during a green card) and that always lead to disaster. The VO didn't know and wouldn't know if there are 3 options for the course in the school. Perhaps, he/she doesn't even care to know about this options unless it's clearly written on your I-20 like MS in Sport Management - Golf. This is the reason why he/she said I'm confused, why golf?

And since you've willingly volunteered info, this question came up

Question: Why golf?
Answer: As a sport **** here, I choose golf because it's my long term career goal to be a leader in golf management and I had the opportunity to have a skype chat with Tyler Corp a reputable leader in golf and an instructor in the department, who told me I am on a direct path to my goal.

Saying someone was the one who convinced you to do a particular course doesn't show maturity in a career. If you said that in SOP applying for a course in medical field, your application might bow for the one from someone whose passion is for the course. As you said, many said that here and got the visa but don't forget that many said that here and got denied. The point I'm making is always make it your intuitive conviction, your impetuous passion choosing a course.

About your mom's passport. It's good to hear that you were told to do so by the embassy and it's great that you now know that what they told you is almost irrelevant to your application. It's all about you and not someone who has already established him/herself in U.S. The question still remains, prove to me you're a genuine student not prove to me someone is a regular traveler who has not violated any immigration law.

Lastly, NEVER BEG any VO during your visa interview. There is no maximum of time one can no more apply or get the visa. It's a matter of time and favor.

Oooops! Funny I'm doing this again, I've stopped comment on transcripts since part 2 or 3 thereabout.
Thanks at imperiouxx, your response has been meaningful, clapping for u. I dint like the aspect of the lady begging to, though she got it. Well every one would always have faults in people's interview if denied visa even though the fault worked for others. The whole process is just confusing.

Begged and she got it cos of the begging?I doubt that..Begging enough shows the VO that you are an Immigrant..Am still waithing for when am going,If them like make them give me i no send their Mama..Thunder fire them if them no give me,If them give me,Thunder fire them still.. grin grin grin Am not Desperate..But I know one thing,I would come and share my Success Story here..
Lol, am serious, in her words, please consider me, have been here 4 times. grin.

@Omoh26,

Why golfing? Based on personal discretion as well as the last VO such studies makes no sense. I'm confused here. I thought I was reading about business management why suddenly I started reading about golf and Taekwondo? Did you change from business to sport within 3 months? If so, since it's your passion, no one cares about the professional golfer instructor.

Reasons for the school/course should be academical and standard or lucrativeness of the course from the school in the economy or it's benefits to you. You want to reach your own goal that's why you choose the course/school not because you were convinced by what Tyler or so told you on skype.

Why your mom's document when the issue at hand is you? Even if your mom trips U.S every time, all the VO's wants from YOU (not your mom) is if you will come back after studies or simply, do you have any studying intention (genuine).... question which you didn't address well or at all.
Thanks @imperriouxxx, Pls try check what I wrote well, I dint suddenly change from Bus Management to Sports Management, I just said my first Degree is Bus Mgt and going for msc sport Mgt and of cos when u wanna read msc sports mgt u have to choose a field u would major and for my school, you either would choose Golf, Taekwondo or Sports Leadership, that's explanatory enough. You wanting to reach your goal dosent mean someone can't motivate u or convince u, have read several transcripts where people say they were convinced by one Prof or the other and they got the visa. I wrote that it was on the third interview that I showed the CO my mum's passport simply cos I contacted the embassy after the 2nd denial, I asked them questions, the response was if I can show the CO that I should, which was what I did. A genuine reason to study abroad dosent come more than this. I wouldn't be disturbing my self if msc sports mgt wasn't really important in my field, I knw why I want to do the course, I knw where it would place me in Nigeria.
It's simple here, most people have abused student visa in the US that's y young peeps find it diff getting the F1 student visa.
I contacted my school, they told me all I said was cool, they sent me likely questions to. What they told me was they have information of peeps that have received visa and in the US but Ye to report to the school after months in the US. A lady begged the CO the last time I was at the embassy that she had been denied 4 times, she got it.

tipssy1:
@Omoh26 first interview
1.What is the corrolation btw business mgt and ur new course of study in golf, you ought to hv picked sport leadership, the VO might looked into dat
2. What business does ur mum do? U needed to hv mention the line of business she is in2
3. Hv you traveled b4? No. Only if asked why haven't you? then u can say, I had no need until now, I wish to acquire more knowledge.
Third Interview
1.he didn't ask u what ur major / Am comfused why golf? It means why choose it as a career then u wld hv stated the importance of it to you and benefit ur country will derive frm u after ur studies wen u return
2.if you work with ur mum u shld be on a managerial, which can help u as a tie in the family business to return home if granted
Don't get offended if people state a contrustive reason 4 u It wld help u a lot. No VO will tell you why dey didn't grant you because dey are not mandatory to do that, but u might likely know from their emphasis on a question.
Thanks alot at tipssy1, Off cos I explained my position as been a manager there. Secondly, have read several transcripts here where people say No, they have not traveled cos they have had no need to yet been granted. I told her my major cos I felt that might enhance my chances when she asked about the course. There is a correlation btw Bus Mgt and Sports Mgt, the course content relates with Business Mgt courses also, apart from sports law and few courses. Infact some schools require Bus Mgt as first degree before they can admit u into their post graduate school for Ms sport mgt. I told her the importance of Golf to me and how I would like to set up a Golf course when back.

Hi Guys! Visa denied 3 times on June 30, Sept 1 and 30. My school resumes Oct 5 for my quarter. Apparently I have to differ. School is California University of Management and Sciences.

June 30 Interview!
CO: Why are u going to the US
Me: For my masters degree in **
CO: what course did u read in school
Me: Business Management
CO: what school did u graduate from
Me: **, a private school
CO: who is sponsoring u
Me: My mum
CO: what does she do
Me: A business woman
CO: have u traveled before
Me: No, have not heard need to.
CO: Are u married
Me: No.
CO: Am sorry, hands the blue paper.

2nd interview on Sept 1, this CO dint ask any question apart from:
CO: Why are u going to California
Me: For my masters degree.
CO: types for about 5 minutes, hands the blue paper.

3rd interview was in Abuja Sept 30, hence the 2 previous ones were in Lagos.

CO: Good Morning
Me: Good morning
CO: Pls pass ur passport
Me: me hands in my passport and my mum's whom is my sponsor.
CO: looks at my mum's 2 full passport which includes KLM card, she cross check it with my name and it does match.
CO: this is ur mum right
Me: Yes.
CO: her next question was have u traveled before.
Me: No, have not heard need to.
CO: Why did u choose the school
Me: of all the schools I applied to, California University of Management and Sciences is the only school that has a professional golfer has the Golf instructor, Tyler Corp, (which is true)
CO: am confused, why golf.
Me: In California, when offered admission for msc sport management, you would either major in Golf, Taekwondo or sports leadership, so I choose golf cos I was convinced with Tyler Corps explanation on Golf and it's rules when I spoke to him on Skype
(which is also true).
CO: where do u work.
Me: My mum's company (which is also true). Am also a sports *** with so so and so station (also true)
CO: your duties
Me: explains
CO: Am sorry, hands in the denial paper for the third time.

This gets me confused, I filled all information my self, all information provided were not false, spoke well, was composed at all 3 interviews yet wasn't approved. They always include tie to compel you to come back to an home country, working in ur parent company is a tie, ur parents having landed property is a tie, so what else. Hence I think there is a bit of discretion from the CO who conduct the interview.
I mailed the embassy also called their call line, the response was we sorry for the denials but it is at the discretion of our Consular Officers, how else can one be truthful.

A man went with 4 children and his wife, Young guy though, he was asked what he was going for, he said vacation, he was asked where he has traveled to, he said UK, Italy and so. He was asked where the passport to countries he has traveled to is, he said he dropped it at home, yet he was approved, all couples got approved and aged people despite most not convincing.
A lady was denied, the lady asked the CO, why the denial that she just explained she has landed properties in Nigeria. The CO responded by saying I can't go into details, that's d end of the interview.

I would please want a well constructed and helpful comment from you guys. Thanks. CC @Slimmy05 @LagosNIV.
