Palestine, or Falastine/Falastin/Philistine or other variations, has always been the name of the land. Back then there were no states or republics.

The essence of the matter is not statehood: it's indigenous claims to the land by original inhabitants. The current people in Palestine ARE the indigenous descendants of ancient Canaan while the refugees who came by boat in the 20th century to establish the State of Israel were Europeans whose ancestors were converted to Judaism.

Israel is a country founded in 1948 by Ashkenazi and other European Jews escaping from Europe.

They displaced most of the indigenous population there and forcefully erected an apartheid state that caged in the displaced people. For 76 years these refugees are walled in, harassed, tormented, dispossessed, killed. What do you expect them to do? Lay down and die?

Of course they'd strike. Hamas did commit crimes but Hamas is just an expression of people who were terrorized all their lives.

And before you start that bullshit about how Israel gas always existed or is the promised land, I'll advise you to read some history first:

1. Abraham, if he ever existed, was not a jew. The word "jew" came into being much later as an ethnoreligious collective. Abraham was from Iraq, and asked by Hashem to travel to the land of Canaan.

3. Jacob, the father of the jews, was the grandson of Abraham. His other name was Israel.

4. The Kingdom of Israel Jacob founded does not include the parts of modern Israel such as Gaza, West Bank and many other places.

5. The name Palestine (its variations) has historically been the name of the land even before the Torah was written, as evidenced by ancient literature.

6. The modern Palestinians are the descendants of the ancient Canaanites. Note that we're not talking of religion here... we're talking about a people. Some of these people converted to Christianity and Islam while others remained as jews.

7. The state of Israel, which uses the name of Jacob, forced out the Christian and Muslim Palestinians while absorbing the Jewish Palestinians. They did retain around 2m Muslim Palestinians for the sake of appearance.

This concept of Chosen Ones or covenant or Promised Land is perpetuated only within the 3 Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) as all 3 have a common source. Anyone else outside these belief systems is not bound to recognize this nonsense. In fact, in Christianity the second covenant largely nullifies the first.

We don't believe in a world where some people would take over someone's land and claim some mythical deity promised it to them.
