This is why the VO asked you twice if you had a relative in the US. I don't know your reason for denying that your dad is there, but it clearly was not worth it. Now you have made the situation worse and it will be recorded on your file that you were dishonest in your previousinterview. The next time may be harsher with more scrutiny. Better luck next time anyway!

I denied having anyone there because my dad went with a visiting visa and I knew that it was a red flag, and also I filled that I don't have anyone in US in my DS160...


Please what can I do to rectify this as I plan to get a new mrv so that I can reapply.....

I denied because my dad went with a visiting visa, and I thought saying that he was there would have done more harm, and now I filled in my DS-160 that I have no one in the US.....

Please everyone, I need your intervention on my this. My dad is the US and he paidy SIVES using his home address..... Since I noticed that, I've been mailing homeland security to help me change my address that the person that paid for me used his address not my own but no response from them. I called them, they said they have lots of issues to address and they are addressing them according, so they sent a confirmation mail. I printed it out and took it along to the embassy.
