deltateam: i heard some banks collect 500k minimum, not sure though, but 100k is the minimum that i am aware of, you must have an account, because that's where they will pull the money from for fixing and also where they will credit the interest as well |

Business / Re: What Eden1747(f) Did Not Tell Us About Her "Humilation" At ECOBANK Badagry Today by Omonomose1: 10:34am On Jun 27, 2015 |
I find it difficult to believe that a professional worker will call a customer a goat( a lady for that matter) in a professional environment and in the presence of other customers. This Eden lady might just be trying to get back at d bank employee for other reasons she is not stating. some of us here knows this lady might be giving false accusation but still supporting her because of the tedious process we sometimes go through in the bank. Maybe he did call her a goat and maybe he didn't, as long as you were not there when it happened and there is no video/audio recording online to confirm it, it is wisdom to give people the benefit of doubt. It could be you and how would you feel when you are been condemned by people for what some person(s) wrote or said about you that may not be true. FYI, i am a doctor, not a banker. 4 Likes 1 Share |

NYSC / Re: NYSC; C14 Sokoto. Where Ya @ by Omonomose1: 11:17pm On Oct 29, 2014 |
When i saw my nysc deployment on the notice board in my skool then, i cudnt believe my eye's, after somedays i was still trying to figure out if SO stands for only sokoto, or they wanted to write OS (osun), most pple laffed at me, my parents were like i told u to work ur transfer and u refuse, saying u don't know wat God has install for u, my younger ones were playing Psquare song" asamkpokoto, so many mockery from all sides'. I gathered liver and i went for camp, the rest is history and today i have a good job while most of frends are still struggling for peanut jobs, some even gave me their Cv incase of any opening so i cud help them submit in same sokoto they were teasing then. @ Sunylatsega, the town is safe, infact its one of the most peaceful state in the country, hardly hear about crimes like arm robbery, kidnapping is a No No, very good roads, infact 2am in d morning is like 9pm in sokoto, very busy at night, and in terms of entertainment, the place dey try, there are clubs, cool joints, really beautiful places where u can enjoy yourself. Like i mentioned earlier, the only issues here are the distance and the very hot and cold weather 5 Likes 1 Share |

Welcome to city of the caliphate, it's a nice place actually, most of u guys may want to stay after completion of nysc programme, getting a job here is not as competitive as getting one in the other parts of the country. Take it from someone who came to serve at sokoto batch c11 in a bank and was retained thereafter. The state is not as scary as southerners think, the only issue is distance from one's home town, I am a bini guy from Edo state for instance, dats 14hrs drive on road, so most times I take flight or use my personal car. Mind u I don't intend spending my entire life here. Just wanna build a life and den redeploy to south or beta still Abuja, Note that it's better to get a job here and transfer to another location in d future, than serving in South where job is far more difficult to get. Most of my friends in same batch c11 had jobs after nysc completion My experience though. 1 Like |
