Perhaps, you do not have the time to sit pretty and read books that interest you, we have given you an alternative – a choice that allows you to engage in other activities, while you listen to your favourite books being read to you.

You can listen to audiobooks while driving, at the gym, working out or getting your chores done at home. All you need is a listening device that allows you to move freely, without obstruction and of course, an enabled smartphone.

Listening to Audiobooks help increase your memory and reading capacity, also, it helps you remember more words you can check out later because you are using your auditory nerves as well as your brain. This is not to disregard those who read physical books, it just shows that the end game for reading – which is comprehension, is also achievable when using audiobooks.

FORBES AFRICA is on the hunt for Africans under the age of 30, who are building brands, creating jobs and representing and transforming the continent, to join the Under 30 community for 2019.

Each year, FORBES AFRICA looks for resilient self-starters, innovators, entrepreneurs and disruptors who have the acumen to stay the course in their chosen field, come what may.

Past honorees include Kwesta, Nomzamo Mbatha, Ink Eze, Isaya Yunge, Jokate Mwegelo, Yannick Nzonde, Gilbert Eugene Peters, Yemi Alade, Vere Shaba, Kevin Lubega, Davido, Rivo Mhlari, Nasty C and WizKid.

“2019 will be the fifth anniversary of the FORBES AFRICA under 30 list. Every year, there emerges, in the continent of a billion-plus people, young luminaries who are blazing a trail to the finish line, and the idea of the list is to unearth and uncover them on their way up,” says FORBES AFRICA’s Managing Editor, Methil Renuka.

In addition to the three categories – Creatives, Technology and Business in 2018, this year, FORBES AFRICA introduces a new category — Sports.

If you think you have what it takes to be on this year’s list or know an entrepreneur, creative, technology entrepreneur or sports star under 30 with a proven track record on the continent – introduce them to FORBES AFRICA by submitting your nomination.

This country is a joke, nobody occupied Nigeria because of ASUU strike because Nigeria public universities where you find the common man children not the elites, because its CJN people are now occupying Nigeria.
Mind you, I'm not a buharist neither I'm articulated, we are doomed in this nation.

PoliticsOccupynigeria Returns After Seven Years! by OmonoWrites(op):
Seven years after the original OccupyNigeria nationwide protests, some lawyers and members of civil society organizations are carrying out protests around the country in favour of the disgraced chief justice of the federation, Walter Nkanu Onnoghen. While some have welcomed the protests, others have dismissed it as unnecessary and interest-fueled.

It is true that many law practitioners believe President Buhari did not act according to the provisions of the constitution, but from an opposite viewpoint, Nigeria has other pressing issues begging for attention. Case in point, the ongoing ASUU strike, which has affected the session calendar of public tertiary institutions nationwide. A lot of students are idle and this has contributed to current crime rates in the country.

Organizing nationwide protests which would seem to be in favour of the judicial elite, as opposed to one benefitting students, is what some political analysts refer to as misplaced priorities by civil societies.

What do you think about the ongoing OccupyNigeria protests which started on Monday, January 28?

If you read through the job description of a position you want to apply for, and you discover you do not know anything about a particular job function, please, do not lie to get the job. You could be asked to demonstrate that particular skill when you are interviewing for the job. Endeavour to learn more marketable skills, so as not to be caught in this situation. It is very embarrassing.
