Shola needs to just stay out of the limelight and allow life to take its course. That being said, please, if anyone should shame her for being a baby mama, they also need to shame Wizkid as well. Having children out of wedlock takes two people, not one. Enough of the double standards. |

Down here in Africa, many people (clients, customers) have raised the issue of response to company emails going unanswered by those who run it. In fact, it has become so disturbing that a prospective customer, sends out a reasonable email to a company or organization, and the message is completely ignored. Many a time, there may be a phone number to call and inquire about some things, but when you call, they tell you to please send an official email, and they will get back to you before close of business, but you get nothing, says Adam, a Kenyan who told Lingo Africa about his sour experience dealing with companies and government organisations in his country, when on an information seeking rotation. Same applies to Nigeria, where many professionals are subjected to waiting for emails that never come. A Nigerian journalist, Hauwa, told Lingo Africa about her experience a few months back, when she called a Nigerian government parastatal, to ask for some simple information, and was told to send her questions in an email and she would get a response, "this was in July 2018, and no one has reached out to me since then, even after several reminders, the whole situation is just exhausting," she stated. Sadly, an end to this is not in sight as even some companies and government organizations around Africa, are not addressing their blatant disrespect for those seeking information for whatever reason. We live in an age of information overload, so I do not blame these company staff or government workers who decide to ignore emails, its probably for their own sanity, says Maureen, a staff of the Nigerian government. But, if the external affairs department were in the business of addressing emails as they come, there wouldn't be complaints about attending to too many emails, that's the only rationalization I can come up with, says Hauwa, in response to the question of information overload. in all, companies and organizations need to understand and address the issue of email response, which will go a long way to boost their relevance in whatever industry they are operating in.
