Please guys, I want to make another payment to get a closer date. I intend to use a new email, new ds-160 form too. My question is; the part where I'll be asked if I've applied before, can I choose no? So that I'll have a new profile.

Omo, today has been (past tense because i left there around 11:50am) brutal at Walter Carrington (Lagos embassy) especially for F1 visa applicants. They were just rejecting left, right and centre. Crazy stuff. These consular guys are not smiling at all.
I'll come back to give a detailed feedback on how I scaled through.
Ps: There's hope for those who paid via GTBANK but can't use the payment on the new portal, as long as it is still valid.

I have successfully logged into my account and gotten an interview appointment date for December 16.

And they were earlier available dates too.

I guess maybe logging into the portal during the weekends/late in the night may help with getting early appointment dates.

I am just really glad and thank God i have gotten through this huddle!!!!
Now to prep for my interview!!!!

I recommend kings driving school at ringroad if you're near that axis.
Go to driving school if you can. Many Nigerians drive like drunks cos they don't even know basic safe practices.
