Fathers are usually gentle on the girls and damn harsh on the boys.

Feminists MUST adress this
the mothers can be harsh on the daughters too huh

Even if he did, would you admit it?

Most of the women on here will never admit that their father slapped or knocked back some sense into them at least once during their childhood...that would make him the cave man they often like to call some guys here.

But we know the truth. gringrin
I wldnt have made a thread, if he did undecided

so unclassy and primitive

but my father is very harsh on his sons. .he boxes them grin. .his father was a big policeman back in the day
so he transferred that police discipline to my pops

I used to feel bad for my elder brother growing up
it was so bad, my brother had to move in with my mother

I know that you're trying to encourage us but your story is kinda awkward maybe because of d poor man with broken leg n d stress on the rich Yoruba guy.... There's a saying that goes thus...Que se ra se ra...i.e whatever will be will be...that's d summary of what happened to your aunt... You might not be lucky but I wish you well
its better to marry because you have found the right one not because you are getting older

better to stay unmarried than marry any random person because of pressure

thats the message I am trying to send across

I am not encouraging women to marry older

My Aunty bestie married at 38 and blessed with two kids!

Its a common occurrence...

My aunt herself married young but couldn't bear a child. With the help of IVF, she had her first baby boy this year at the age of 51.

Things are happening. The world is changing. Science is evolving. Menopausal age is shifting....

A Yoruba man at 41 yrs old not married and not having kids is strange.

Op, let me advise you because your statement of asking some ladies to keep waiting no matter the time is a grievous mistake for the person. Your sister is just lucky for getting the so called guy but 95% of their likes end up been lonely for the rest of their life
yea its strange

shes so lucky

the man is educated, rich, gentle, kind and handsome. .everything perfect
I am surprised it ws 41, he ended up getting married

but he said he had to work hard to become rich. .because he said he suffered when he was small growing up

I guess he was more focused on making money in his youth than getting married

non-typical Nigerian, you don't understand what you are saying. A 39 yr old woman's is still very fine. A lot of women have kids at that age and they are fine mongolian symptoms is not caused by reduced egg quality. Please do your research and stop talking rubb.ish.

You started well, but ended very bad, shows how juvenile you are. You see, onila..what worked for your auntie may not work for your another person. Accept that it was never your Auntie's doing, God time is the best my dear, and this is her time, which she had no control over

You are not going for spiritual help if you are being drawn to the place by it's "classy, rich people". How do you know they're not drug barons and fraudsters?
well, the pastor is charismatic

a pastor with a nice personality attracts members

and the choir cld make anyone dance

you just think too deep
u shld understand what I am saying

You go to church to look for 'rich people' who 'act sophisticated'. You sound really messed up. It's clear that for you, church is just another fashion/lifestyle accessory, like a new phone or handbag. Nothing to do with spirituality or righteousness.
At least you're honest about it.
this is the first time, I am attending such a sophisticated church

this is a new experience for me. .the classy, rich people make it exciting, thats all

church is not a place where you make friends or some kind of social gathering
one of the pastors says it all the time

but the fact, the classy rich people make u enjoy the church more. 10% percent motivation of going to the church grin

I am obviously going for spiritual help

How about the message preached, does it minister to your spirit or your interest is just the vain things you mentioned?
yea it does

this is the first time, I am attending a church where fashion is important

my other churches I went too. the members were laid back

never attended Christ embassy, house on the rock etc
all those high fashion churches in Nigeria

Sundays are becoming my new favourite day of the week
today is tuesday, I am already praying for sunday to come
thats how this new church is sweeting me
this is the first time I have attended a church and I am always eager to go to church
never felt like this before, this is so unreal
before I used to go to church because I needed to and not because I actually do enjoy it grin

the church is so sophisticated

so many rich, educated people

the pastor is a Yoruba guy and has a degree in pharmacy and acts very posh

everyone dresses so classy and rich
sometime I just look ard and admire pples dresses and shoes
if u dont dress well or rich to that church, u will feel very awkward

they probably have the best choir in the world
majority of the members are black

mostly Nigerian with many Caribbeans and other Africans

picking the right church is the way to go
