First check your earth or ground connections. They tend to give a lot of issues on VW Audi marquee. I believe you'll eliminate more than half of these codes just doing that.

Good morning Nairalanders, I bought a used 2005 Volkswagen, it was scanned and I got these error codes

P0480, p0413, p0030, p0098, p2185, p0042, p0036, p0300

My trusted mechanic said I should change the plugs, coils, nozzles, change MAF, injectors and silencer.

Please advise.
The interior sometimes smell like fuel and it does cold start.
