Importing a car to Nigeria can be a complex process with various regulations and paperwork. At Autos and Cartalk Limited, we handle everything for you – from sourcing, buying, and inspecting vehicles to managing shipping logistics, clearing customs, and handling vehicle registration. We take the stress out of the process so you can sit back and enjoy your new car.

There is a customer of ours we helped to source a Nigerian-used Lexus RX 350 2009 in August 2024 which he is still enjoying to date contacted us late last year that he wants us to help him bid and buy a Toyota camry 2007 or 2008 from abroad for him.

He specifically said he wants the one that has an actual mileage of 100k miles or less and that his budget is not more than N8,000,000. That sounded impossible but we got to work and we were able to see a Toyota camry 2007 with actual mileage of 94k miles and minor impact on Copart.

On January 13th 2026, we bid on the car on Copart, and we were able to win it for $1,755 (Copart fees inclusive), as it can be seen in one of the images attached. Our trucker got to the car at the Copart yard the next day, and we were able to work on the trucking of the car to the most suitable seaport, as can be seen in one of the images attached. Voila, the car is already on the ship coming to Nigeria which will arrive sometime in February 2026.

Edited

This Toyota camry is already in Lagos, Nigeria as it can be seen in the images attached when it was sighted upon arrival in Nigeria. Attached is also the picture of the ship it came with to Nigeria.

Here comes a Tokunbo Standard Lexus Rx350 2012 going for N16,000,000 negotiable price.

It was registered in September 2025 and well maintained.

It is buy and drive; you don't to do anything on it. If you want to continue using the Abuja number on it, we can help you to process change of ownership for FREE so that the names on it will be changed to yours. If you don't like the Abuja number, you can get plate number of any state for it and register to your names without any hassle.

Its engine was even serviced last week with original USA Mobil 1 engine oil and filter that can be used to cover 5,000 miles plus and can stay in the engine of the car for up to 6 months.

It has 4 brand new tyres installed to it September 2025, reverse camera, parking sensors, mouse, 19 inch rim, untampered engine and gear, etc.

It is being put up for sale because registered owner bought another car; nothing is wrong with the car.

If you want to see and inspect this car, call or Whatsapp 08039614606 or 08050844033 or betterstill, come to our office at 71a Shyllon Street. Palmgrove, Lagos.

So police go leave chassis number and plate number come check my engine number? Wetin concern am with that one?

2cribz:
Give m 5k and zoom off. Na naija we dey. Besides last time police saw me eas 3 years ago,i leave home as early as 6am. Road free die and go back by 9pm. How we wan take meet.

Lol

Your location matters.

What should those who cannot avoid police do as regards this matter?

2cribz:
Story. So far the car is in your name with the plates

What happens in a scenario a police officer checks the engine number and sees it to be different from the one on your car's document?

It is very common and necessary that you will have to replace the engine of your vehicle after some time.

After replacing the engine of your vehicle, get an affidavit of change of engine and a police extract to avoid harassment from law enforcement agencies.

You also need to have photographs of the moment when the old engine is being removed by the technicians and the moment when the new engine is being installed in the car/vehicle.

If you have additional precaution(s) or want to contribute to the subject matter, please let's have it/them.

It is not new that the Mercedes-Benz ML 350 is very popular and it is being purchased very well. Mercedes-Benz ML400 is also available and it looks exactly like ML350 but they are not the same.

Let's try to highlight the differences between the Mercedes-Benz ML350 and ML400;

1. ML350 comes with aspirated V6 engine while ML400 comes with V6 turbocharged engine
2. ML350 runs slower than ML400
3. ML350 consumes less fuel than ML400
4. ML350 is less durable compared to ML400

If you know any other difference(s) between the cars, let us know via the comment section.

If what you need from abroad is a car with no physical damage and that you might not need to fix anything when it gets to Nigeria, getting it from individuals, dealers, public auctions like Manheim or private ones like Bel Air Auction is the best option to go for.

Not that they are not available on the likes of IAAI and Copart but they are quite scarce to come by. Anywhich way, we are available to help you get from any of them!!!

It is available for sale.

As it can be seen in the image attached, our client gave us a review after using the Nigerian used vehicle we helped source for two years.

Most of the reviews on our Google Business page are based on long-term experience; we don't buy reviews or sweet-talk our clients into giving us reviews as soon as possible.

I have bought several cars off IAAI and Manheim.

For those interested in buying from Iaai and Manheim, you can call or WhatsApp me on 08050844033

Which car sales site in the US offers cheap and has more reputation among these: Copart, IAAI or Manheim?

I want to have your opinion on this, so that other people can also learn from it.

tomdon:
Please i want register under you as a dealer. Kindly tell me how to proceed

You can call or WhatsApp me on 08050844033 as regards this.

At Autos and Cartalk Limited, we provide comprehensive sourcing for brand-new and premium used vehicles (both foreign used a.k.a Tokunbo and Nigerian-used).

We handle the entire process from international bidding (USA, Canada, South Korea) to local delivery including mechanical diagnostics and repairs.

Attached is the evidence of a Lexus Rx 350 2013 with very minor side impact and having an actual mileage of 134k that we bid and won at the price of 7,845$(IAAI fees inclusive) on IAAI for our client on the 24th of December 2025.

As it can be seen in one of the images attached, we trucked the asap and it got to the seaport on the 30th of December 2025, even though we won the bid late on December 24th, while the 25th and 26th were public holidays.

As it can be seen in one of the images attached, we shipped the car via Grimaldi, and it is said to be arriving in Nigeria by the 3rd of February 2026.

Edited

Attached is the picture of the Lexus Rx350 2013 in Nigeria after fixing and detailing it.

He paid us a professional sourcing fee for a Nigerian used car, and we got him a clean Nigerian used Honda Civic 2010 that even most available tokunbo Honda Civics of same year in Nigeria cannot compete with, at a very reasonable price. And here's what he has to say after 2 years of using the car.

This is nice

Sales still going. Original imported from the USA octane boosters and fuel treatments for vehicles that should be using premium fuel.
