I DON'T LIKE THE BRAND OF WINNERS' CHAPEL, CHRIST EMBASSY OR COZA BUT AFTER REVIEWING THE SITUATION I APOLOGIZE I APOLOGIZE TO CAC, FUNSO AKANDE AND PROPHET HEZEKIAH. THEY ALSO ASSISTED ME WITH MONEY AND SUPPORT WHEN MY CHURCH GOT BURNT. -Reverend Isaac Omolehin I want to make a special recording of what I'm about to say so please let our audio… I have spent many years on the job and I have seen so much and the more as we go, the more I see. But there is so much corruption in the Church of God. There is so much immoralities in the Church of God and there is so much commercialization of the Gospel and the Gospel has been set aside and much of the conversation in the Church is about money!! Church Gist. And the Lord is not happy about this and it is this I saw, all of this. I also see that the coming of our Lord is very close, it's so close. And I feared that if He met us like this, moreso a growing population of the World. The people in the World are growing so also when judgement comes, the crowd will be going to where they are going. So in my attempt to address these problems, I spoke harshly and hard and I know you here know about that, that I don't spare these things. But in the process of trying to correct these things and I spoke very hard. A lot of people became offended and they are showing it that they are offended. I have had to also review the whole situation. Matthew 5:23. The core issue here is that Jesus said: If you brought a gift, if you brought an offering or if you came to pray and while you are there at the Altar praying, you remember that a brother has something against you. He's not even saying you have something against him, he said the brother has something against you. Church Gist. Our Lord Jesus said, He's not interested in the offering you're trying to give. He said you should leave it there. Now, the reason He asked you to leave it there is because of the fact that He knows and wants and desires that you come back to it. He didn't ask you to carry it away, He said leave it there. And then go and make peace with the person who has something against you. He said after that you can come and continue your prayer. On this account, the Word of God is the base, it is the foundation of all of our faith. I now looked back at some of the things that I have said and the kind of hurtings that have been made. It brought pain even to a lot of my own friends and the hurtings are so deep and they are also very painful even to me. So I'm using this opportunity to apologize to my friends and apologize to the different Churches that have been hurt. Church Gist. I want to apologize to the CAC, when our Church was burnt, CAC sent a delegation to come and commiserate with us and gave us money. That's not the kind of Church you want to hurt no matter what you feel is going wrong somewhere. I apologize to my friend Funso Akande in Ede who was also very hurt. When I preached for him and he heard that our Church got burnt, he gave us money. That is not the type of person you want to hurt. I apologize to Prophet Hezekiah, he came here and he had visited me sometimes, he came to visit me, again that's not the kind of friend you want to hurt no matter how you feel. To cancel 2Baba is like trying to cancel Afrobeats itself. It’s simply not possible. That’s why, despite all the noise about his marital life, the online in-laws association of Nigeria couldn’t do much. They couldn’t drag him, cancel him, or even disrespect him without getting cooked in the comments.😄 He’s not perfect, but he’s living the life 95% of men wish they had the courage to live. He’s not just an artist, 2Baba is an institution. You can’t cancel a legend. You can only talk and move on.

TO KILL A MONKEY: Great Film, But I Have Reservations. After all the hype and well deserved applause for "To Kill a Monkey", I still have some reservations. Yes, the movie was great, from the acting to the cinematography, but certain aspects of the storyline lost touch with reality. First off, the character "Teacher" was unnecessary. He contributed nothing meaningful to the plot. The whole fight between Teacher and Oboz felt forced, especially Efe’s involvement. Efe had no connection to Teacher, yet the script tried to insert him into a conflict that wasn’t his. That angle was weak. Secondly, Efe was portrayed as a tech expert and developer, yet he came off as dull. How can someone with the skills to build such a powerful app be that broke and clueless? No real life developer with that level of innovation would still be that hungry and wrecked. Thirdly, Oboz didn’t embody the traits of a real mafia boss. He bragged too much, talked loosely, and chased women without class. True underworld leaders move in silence, protect their presence, and don’t get disrespected by women like Amanda in front of their boys. Letting Efe into the inner circle without proper initiation (vetting) only confirmed how unserious Oboz was. Efe asking Oboz, who owned the structure, for 50% just so he could sit back and collect money was peak greed and entitlement. That was an obvious red flag that Oboz was too blind to see, simply because he himself is an idiot. Efe’s wife, Nosa, in my opinion, did nothing wrong. Yes, she messed up and lost herself when the illegal money finally came, but she wasn’t the problem, Efe was. He lacked principles and backbone. A woman cannot push a man of integrity into crime. And let’s be honest, 90% of women would do exactly what Nosa did if they saw that opportunity. Her reaction was predictable; Efe’s weakness was the real problem. Lest I forget, they didn’t condemn the crime in the movie, they ended it like it was just another way to make it. That kind of ending sends a subtle message that crime is a normal or valid route to wealth. And honestly, as much as that’s a flawed message, it also reflects reality. Many of the richest people in the world today didn't exactly take the clean path to success. Still, a film with this kind of reach should’ve done more to spark reflection, not validation. So while To Kill a Monkey was a great production, the character arcs and certain plot decisions needed more realism and depth. These small flaws kept it from being a truly unforgettable masterpiece. If I should rate the movie, I would say 7/10, not because it wasn't entertaining, but because certain parts lacked depth, realism, and proper character development. The hall was dressed in it ceremonial attire. The lighting stood perfectly at feets apart, each in the colour delegated to it for the dinner. The flower adorning each table gave the hall a 5star glamour. The buffet stole the sight and smell of everyone as the aroma rode on the wings of air and offered no mercy to every nostrils that walked pass the bouncers in to the 100 by 50 feets hall. It was 13minutes 7seconds to the commencement of the graduands’ dinner party. Walking majestically towards the 6th table, was a dark skinned, average height, size 8 lady in her early twenties. Her shiny gold colour fitted dinner gown made even the light rays bow to it glits. Enyo could hardly help his jaw and eyes back to their default, because they both hanged pitifully in awe of what caught their gaze. The soundtrack the DJ launched into the atmosphere made that moment look like a suspended love scene in a Bollywood movie. Sitting 8inches from both side of Enyo were his two closest friends since their premedical. They kept sending heeps of decisions in gestures and seemingly silent voice to him. Lucy had never been Enyo’s spec since freshman but the roaring voices of his friends in his head might pressure him to approach Lucy. Withdrawing from the table, he paced wisely to the restroom. Resting his back on the cold tiled wall, he feast his eyes on the man that looked much like him in the mirror, thinking of what he will do to escape the reiterating roar of his friends’ voices in his head. Either often or once in a while, you have been pressured by someone or group of people to take some decisions because they felt it’s the best for you. Often, the intention is genuine but the question is, does it support your values, or will the consequences of your action play nice on you or your bucketlist/plans? Regardless of your answer, you need to come to terms with the fact that soceity will always hang a bagpack of decisions on you without seeking your consent. You will be left to either drop it down, carefully screen and pick those aligned with your vision in life; or pick randomly and work with it regardless of it consequences on your goals. A Deeper Dive. The story above illustrates how you can be pressured by society to make some decisions. It’s easier to say, “you are not easily pressured by people” than overcoming societal pressure practically. Enyo might have always reiterated that Lucy wasn’t his spec for 6 years but in the space of 5minutes after being amazed by her elegant look plus, his friends’ comments, he was already pressured to take a decision and munch it from the buffet his friend arranged. How do you go about staying on check when the .......... READ FULL POST 👇👇 https://www.gistonlinesng.com.ng/2025/04/how-to-overcome-societal-social.html
