Scientists say early experiments suggest it may one day be possible to make babies without using eggs. They have succeeded in creating healthy baby mice by tricking sperm into believing they were fertilising normal eggs. The findings in Nature Communications, could, in the distant future, mean women can be removed from the baby-making process, say the researchers. For now, the work helps to explain some of the details of fertilisation. End of mum and dad? The University of Bath scientists started with an unfertilised egg in their experiments. They used chemicals to trick it into becoming a pseudo-embryo. These "fake" embryos share much in common with ordinary cells, such as skin cells, in the way they divide and control their DNA. The researchers reasoned that if injecting sperm into mouse pseudo-embryos could produce healthy babies, then it might one day be possible to achieve a similar result in humans using cells that are not from eggs. South Africa Bars American Pastor Steven Anderson Over Anti-Gay Views South Africa has barred U.S Pastor Steven Anderson from visiting the country over his critical remarks about homosexuality. The country's home affairs minister on Tuesday said he was refused a visa as the constitution prohibits hate speech. Mr Steven Anderson who currently runs the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Arizona, says that homosexuality is an abomination punishable by the death penalty. He also said that religious freedom no longer existed in South Africa. South Africa gay and lesbian groups collected more than 60,000 signatures opposing his visits this weekend, when he was expected to preach and seek converts to his church. The Nigerian Army on Tuesday announced the death of three key commanders of the Boko Haram sect. The army said the terrorists were killed on Friday in a major air strike on their location in the dreaded Sambisa Forest. Well that's all folks! The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio ended last night. But before everyone packs their bags and head back to their home town and native lands, comes the closing ceremony. When reacting to the occurrence, Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan said it was probably the Islamic state militants who carried out the late-night attack, the deadliest bombing in Turkey in 2016. Rio 2016: List Of Records Broken In Rio 2016 Olympics The 2016 Summer Olympics officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad and commonly known as Rio 2016, is a major multi-sport event being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 August to 21 August 2016. More than 11,000 athletes from 207 National Olympic Committees, including first time entrants Kosovo, South Sudan, and the Refugee Olympic Team, are taking part. With 306 sets of medals, the games features 28 Olympic sports, including rugby sevens and golf, which were added to the Olympic program in 2009. These sporting events are taking place at 33 Venues in the host city, and at five in Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Brasilia, and Manaus. As the event draws to a close, lots and lots of records have been broken in this years Olympic event, and here are some of them; 1. Michael Phelps broke a 2,168-year-old Olympic record. Michael Phelps has a lot of records. He won his 22nd gold medal on Thursday, extending his record for the most golds of any Olympian ever. His win in the 200 meter butterfly Tuesday made him the first person to win individual swimming gold in Olympic games 12 Years apart. That race also made him the oldest man to win individual swimming gold, breaking a 96-year-old record set by Hawaiian surfing legend Duke Kahanamoku in 1920. But there's even an older record Phelps set when he claimed his 13th individual gold by winning his fourth 200m IM on Thursday. Books are generally amazing, as we have various kinds of books examples are; Christian novels, comic books, encyclopedias, fantasy novels, books on history, Hollywood novels, poetry collections, science fiction novels, books on business and marketing and numerous others. But ever wondered what are the most read books in the world?. My guess is a Yes! So here are the list of the top 10 most read books in the world. 1. The Holy Bible. The bible is a collection of sacred texts in Judaism and Christianity. The Bible is a collection of Scriptures written at different times by different authors in different locations. Jews and Christians consider the books of the bible to be a product of divine inspiration or an authoritative record of the relationship between God and humans. What is Purpose? The reason for which something exists or its done, used, made can be referred to as purpose. Purpose also is an intended or desired result; an aim, goal, determination, resoluteness. There are two groups of people who are overburdened in this world; those who are carrying nothing and those who are carrying what they are not suppose to carry. Life becomes a burden if lived outside purpose. Doing the wrong thing for the right reason and doing the right thing for the wrong reason all ends in futility. Life becomes productive when you are doing the right thing the right way, in the right time, in the right place, for the right reason (the what..., the how..., the where..., and the why principle of life), and doing enough of this all your life.
